Missing crosswalk sign on Rogers at B-Line Trail crossing (the sign about yielding). Where did it go?
This light turns red for the major thoroughfare (Patterson) almost every time I travel that road, despite the fact that there are NO cars coming from the other direction (Adams). I can't understand a light dedicated solely to a school and college apartments to the detriment of the main through traffic, especially when no one is sitting at the light. It needs to have road sensors, not be set to a timer.
Signal at Smith Ave and Walnut is not synchronized with 2nd & 3rd Sts. You promised that when you put another signal on Walnut for parents dropping off kids at Project School that it would not cause problems with traffic flow and would be synched with rest of Walnut St. But it is NOT. This has been bugging me for several months. I don't often drive north on Walnut in this area, but when I do, this light is NEVER synched. Please fix this for better traffic flow.
Light at Rogers and Patterson/Grimes would skipped the Rogers green light heading into town at least 4 times this am in a row. Made me late to work, traffic was backed up to Rockport light. Inn general, the light displays for only 4 cars to go through in the morning- this is unacceptable as there is always traffic lined up.
Stop light is completely off in all directions
Traffic light completely out
The attached photo shows the pedestrian signal at the corner of East 3rd Street and Woodscrest Drive in Bloomington. As you can see, northbound traffic on Woodscrest has a right-turn arrow at the same time that pedestrians crossing 3rd Street have a "walk" signal, which puts them directly in the path of the turning traffic. Surely this is not the way a properly designed pedestrian signal is supposed to work! Imagine the lawsuit when a motorist strikes a pedestrian in this crosswalk and it turns out they were both obeying their signals...
Street sign at intersection of Sheffield & Plymouth has apparently been hit by a car (45 degree angle--no pedestrian or traffic hazard however)
Light is completely out. No flashers.
