There are no lane markings for the Northside of Henderson and Winslow? Should there be at least temporary markings for the lanes until the construction is completed?
About 5 minutes ago the traffic light was stuck on red in seemingly all 4 directions at the intersection of 17th and Madison/Kinser. One direction (east) may have had flashing red lights. We were all stuck for some time before people started going as if the lights were flashing red on all sides.
The left lane turn signal from north bound Jordan Ave onto westbound 10th street always gets triggered even with no traffic in the left turn lane. (See also ureport #175403)
The traffic light at the intersection of S. College Avenue and 3rd Street is no longer in sync with the other traffic lights through the S. College corridor in the downtown area. Because of this, traffic back ups are happening at the 4th and College intersection during the green light. When the light at 4th & College turns red the vehicles waiting to turn south on College from 4th are not able to do so, thus creating bigger delays that have impacted the College & Kirkwood intersection. I noticed this issue in late August/early September. The problem is especially noticeable during the afternoon/early evening rush hour.
The traffic light timing on college Mall at the Fazoli's entrance needs to be adjusted, cars are backing up in both directions into 3rd Street even. The light going in and out of the mall is much too long it should be much shorter and timed with the light on 3rd Street if possible.
I start work at 4 am I get off I 69 south at 3 rd street I have to set there and set there waiting for the light to change it takes over a minute to change even when there is no cross traffic. The lights on S Patterson and W Allen, W Adams, and Fairview cycle red green all night, these should remain green until the censer is activated from the residential area. These also take over a minute to change. The light at 2nd st and Patterson takes over 2 minutes to change. If I have to stop at all these lights (most of the time I do) it adds over 5 minutes to go less than a mile. 25 minutes a week setting there burning gas for nothing. If you multiply that by the number of people that work for Catalent in the evening hours that is a lot of fuel wasted and adds to pollution. there are probably many other lights threw out the city that needs to be addressed with the same problem.
The traffic light that is off patterson next to catalnt. Maybe someone with the city can come fix it. It's been broke going on a month it turns green then red every 15 20 sec . It really bullshit that it's still going on. The best part is it does this day and night and even better there is no traffic in north to south.
Why is the stop light at St Rt 46 and St Rt 446 on flashing red during rush hour times in late afternoon and evening? Been through there several times in the past few days in late afternoon and evening and it has been flashing red for all directions. Creates long lines on both east and west bound 46. Tonight I saw 2 motorcycles coming from the east on 46 who went into the left hand turn, didn't stop and continued on straight west on 46. The line of traffic on the east bound 46 backed up to the gas station at the top of the hill. Doesn't make any sense to be flashing red.
Pedestrian crossing does not switch to “walk” and hasn’t for a month. 2nd and College Mall Rd, Eastland Plaza intersection with College Mall Rd., East 3rd St and Pete Ellis Dr, East 3rd St and street next to Bloomingfoods
