It seems that my photo did not load correctly and I did not give a street address. the mailbox of 2333 east martha street was in the photo showing the open manhole #174603 Utilities Construction: Other: I was walking my dog today at 5:30 5:40 and walked on the yard in front of my house and I fell through the manhole cover in the water system the lid for the manhole where the water supply is located was obviously horrifically play inaccurately placed and is leading to it being removed and I stepped on it and fell through and hurt myself so this needs to be repaired as soon as possible Attachments See all thumbnails 1/29/2021 60149147c6627 1/29/2021 History 1/29/2021 17:50:47 assignment 1/29/2021 17:50:47 open
Water is gushing down Mitchell this morning--given the falling snow, I couldn't see the source but it was a few inches deep and starting to extend to Mitchell and 2nd St.
Alley between houses causes significant drainage problem with basement flooding during rain/snow thaw
Clogged under the street drainage pipe. Recreates a moat and deep water. There is also a fire hydrant on this corner. The drainage pipe needs cleaned out.
Our backyard floods when we have heavy rain - totally normal. However, our setup to the city's storm drain is clearly not running properly. Water at the opening is nearly at a standstill. A city utility worker was out after the last large rainfall a few weeks ago and was at the manhole entrance point near the street. Within 25 minutes of them leaving, our drainage issue was solved and nearly all flooding issues were resolved. Is this runoff drain/storm drain not functioning properly or not always turned on?
173337 Our case number was closed. We don't know how this happened without anyone contacting us. Today, Mar 11 the flooding began again and reached the side of our houses. The drainage is not able to carry this amount of water away and needs to be addressed. Please contact us. Thanks
Follow up on ticket 175092. Clogged drain under the street. Nancy asked for the location. It is at the corner of 800 S Grant and 400 E Dodds. So the service request "find me" at the top of the UReport goes unreported and when more information is needed the reply by the public only goes to "no-reply@bloomington..." so one can never reply for further clarification with out logging back into Ureport
There is a massive brown water run off from the street up in The Stands down to the creek. Sunday 3:30 pm
There is a city-owned storm drain/culvert running along the north edge of the property listed in the Service Request Location field. In this drain/culvert, there appears to be quite a bit of poisonous hemlock growing "wild". There are children - both from the neighborhoods on either side of the drain - as well as those transient walkers, etc. who often "cut through" using the drain area. The concern is that any of these individuals could accidentally pick/touch/ingest the hemlock. Can the city come take a look, please? Thanks! - Rob Aney
