1 year after my yard was flooded with mud, this retention hole behind my house is still unfinished and full of weeds! Recently in July they dug up pipes they had installed, and they are still lying there.... who is responsible for finally finishing this mess and mowing the weeds down? I dread another heavy rain and my yard filling with mud again... Please have the people who are responsible finish construction of this area and maintain it properly! Thanks , Dave Reid 812-363-3049

The home we bought 2 years ago has flood damage and serious drainage issue that I can't not get under control. There is stormwater runoff that has been coming from (5) different neighboring properties and especially the one huge lot at 2130 Shan Crest Hill 46239. When there is a rainstorm not only does or crawl space completely fill up but our yard on the South, East, and west sides become quickly flooded like a lake. there is a 12" culvert drain pipe that runs east to west on the South side that run right next to the road Raymond Street that should be able to accept my neighbors & our ground water but the 12" easement drain pipe is roughly 13" higher win elevation than the area in the rear of my home where all of their ground water collects so it just fills up and resides under our homes foundation. My wife and I have tried everything bought and burnt out several 1, 2. and 3 HP water pumps with no luck. there is just way, WAY to much water. We are becoming very worried about the possibility's of permanent foundation damage, mold, and our home becoming condemned. Every contractor at least (9) or (10) decline getting involved engineers as well. we are at the end of our rope sorta speak.... I Just had a survey done along with a TOPO survey as well , I can send both to you if it would help. Please any help at all would be greatly appreciated... Flooding continues to be an issue on W 11th Street, at the lowest point where it intersects with Blair Ave. Please see the photos and videos I took yesterday: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1WkvlvMpbzfWyCDrWhkIhXHjeLg5dyMIW?usp=sharing I cleared all of the storm drains at this intersection yesterday BEFORE the storm, but within minutes after the storm began, more debris washed in and clogged them up. I had to risk going outside in severe weather and high winds to remove the new debris and keep the water from spilling over into my yard. I fear that one of these days a tree branch will fall on me while I'm out doing this. This road needs MAJOR engineering attention. One thing I noticed is that there are no storm drains on the uphill portions of 11th Street, or at the intersection with Orris Drive. I'm not a civil engineer but I believe that adding additional drains along these areas would help collect some of the water before it makes it to the bottom of the hill.

On the southeast corner of the intersection at Woodlawn and Maxwell, runoff from the yard on that corner is causing significant ice accumulation on the road. It's impossible to pull up properly to the stop sign going north without veering into the middle of Woodlawn. I have lived on Maxwell for more than 20 years and don't recall seeing this problem before. There is a fire hydrant on the corner of the property, so perhaps this is the source of the water?

The stormwater culvert appears to be partially blocked with debris at multiple points. The first point is where a pipe passes under the B-Line trail, just near lamppost 136. There is a large tree trunk that is impeding the flow of stormwater there. The second point is further down the culvert, where two smaller pipes pass under the railroad tracks. One pipe is partially blocked, and the other is completely blocked with leaves and debris. Kriste has my contact info if you have any questions.

Significant flooding at the intersection of Blair Ave and W 11th St during today's storm. The intersection completely flooded and spilled over my neighbor's driveway and into my yard, eroding the swale. I had to wade through ankle-deep stormwater multiple times to unclog the street drains, as the rain continued to wash more leaves and debris into them.

There is not an issue at my house. However on Veness Road right before Bush Lake Road, water has been running on the road for well over 2 months. It is a very slow run off, but is definitely coming from the right land of Veness Road. About a month ago there was a major water leak on Veness just before Bloomington Ferry. That was fixed. This one has been leaking since early Spring. Thought I should let you know.

Mr. Kellams is a board member for the Brighton Point HOA. The property located at 3760 E Brighton Ave has a PVC drain pipe located on the southern end of their property that drains directly across another property and on down to an inlet to the W of 886 S Baldwin Dr. This drainage has become a problem for this property. The board has tried to work with the property owner at 3760 in coming to a mutual resolution on getting it fixed, but he is not willing to work with them. Mr. Kellams has visited Brad Jackson downtown and he referred Mr. Kellams to you. I explained that you were out until next week, but he would like to speak with you upon your return, and set up a time to meet you on site to see the problem and discuss possible solutions.

The neighbor has constructed an in ground planter box within the bioswale. The planter box is constructed with cement brick and alters the flow of water through the bioswale.
