E-scooter parked in the middle of the entry to public parking lot
E-scooter parked in the middle of the entry to public parking lot
Lime scooter. Bryan Park. 8 am. Wednesday Feb 5
There seems to be a disabled Lime scooter lying flat at Willis and 17th St. (northeast on Willis) next to the small strip mall.
Lime scooter blocking private driveway. Date 10/20/10. Time 3:30PM. Tried to move it out of the way but wheels lock up unless we pay to use it. Address 126 S. Roosevelt St.
Two houses from where this scooter was parked in the 700 block of S Eastside Drive, there lives a blind person. She already has made one fall after a collision with a 'parked' scooter. I thought the scooter companies were not going to accept payment until they had proof (a picture?) that the renter had parked the scooter in a responsible manner. So much for that!
Per the city of Bloomington's electric scooter guidelines "Park the scooter in a bike rack or in another lawful spot on public property that does not block the right-of-way, limit access for individuals with disabilities, risk damaging private or public property, or jeopardize public safety." Requesting scooter ordinance to be enforced by the Bloomington Police Department. Barely avoided several collisions with scooter riders on sidewalks on Kirkwood Ave near Monroe County Public Library. Would like to know when enforcement will start.
Lime Scooter has been sitting on private property in our neighborhood for approximately one week.
There were not only these scooters, but 2 more in the middle of the Morton-Grimes lot next to these, plus 2 more to the side. There was a scooter in the middle of the B Line Monday morning. More scooters at the B Line and Allen intersection. I almost always see turned over scooters on the B Line going south from Allen, Bird and Lime. My suggestion is to have huge dumpsters so the riders can simply dump them, as I know often the companies do, a scooter landfill! What a shame!
Bird scooter blocking sidewalk. These 2 have been there for 2 days now. We have a nearly blind lady in our neighborhood. Can you imagine what happens if she walks her dog and does not realize that these 2 monsters are in her path! 1807 E Second Drive
