When i'm running westbound on Allen street, I push the button that activates the yellow blinking lights that stop the northbound traffic on south walnut, so I can safely (using the crosswalk) cross to the traffic median/island. There I press another button that should activate the yellow blinking lights to stop the southbound traffic on south walnut so I can safely cross To the westernmost side of south walnut. When I press that second button in the median/island (the northern most button on the median) it does not activate the lights that would stop the southbound traffic. It reactivates the lights that stop the northbound traffic, which does me no good.

The Morningside / Smith Road street sign and stop sign at the NW corner of the intersection are overgrown by tree branches that should be removed to allow visibility of the signs by traffic from the north.

When i'm running westbound on Allen street, crossing South Walnut, there are some pedestrian activated, yellow crosswalk, blinking lights. When traveling westbound, I activate the first set of lights by pressing a button. The lights start blinking, I cross halfway across south walnut, where in the median, there is another button I push to activate a second set of blinking, yellow pedestrian lights and I continue traveling west across south Walnut. That second set of lights is not working.

This intersection has two stop signs, one from the Aldi/Goodwill parking lot and one for vehicles heading South on Williamsburg Drive towards 3rd street. Vehicles heading North on Williamsburg do not have a stop sign, yet there is no signage posted that this is the case. In my experience, this has caused a lot of near misses with vehicles who assume those traveling North have a stop sign, while they do not. If a stop sign could be added, or perhaps signage that alerts drivers that incoming traffic from 3rd street does not stop, that would help.
