There are 2 traffic lights on High Street (at 2nd Street and at Hillside) where the southbound left turn signal activates even if there is no one there, and even if no one has triggered the sensor on the street. Thus, going NORTH on High Street (as I do every morning), I'm stuck at both lights longer than necessary when no one going south is actually in those turn lanes. I've called in several times over the past few years about this, and nothing has been done. The first time I was told y'all were waiting on sensors. I'm wondering if those are taking years to arrive, or if there's another issue. Can someone either explain why these lights are set up this way or get them fixed, please??
E. Longview Ave. Greenway - street BIKE stencils showing some premature wear and need touch up or re-stenciling. The BIKE stencils were applied just last summer. All other stencils appear in good condition. Thank you -
Reported on 1/16 that the posts and concrete at the intersection of Winslow and Walnut Street Pike are hard to see at night. Reflectors needed replaced and curb needed painted with reflective paint. Nothing was done and someone ran over one of the posts.
The pedestrian crossing light for the beeline trail on country club Drive/Winslow Road is malfunctioning and circles from yellow to red to flashing red back to yellow then red then flashing red
Street sign knocked over
One of the signs for the pedestrian crossing in the NE corner of the Sare and Rogers roundabout blew off its post during the recent severe storm. The sign is laying on the ground near the post. Thanks for the repair!
the stoplight here recently (within the last week?) started cycling way too quickly for 2nd st traffic. as soon as it turns green, there is a 15 second countdown which means not everyone who was waiting can make it through the light. meanwhile, cars are able to drive up to and through the light with no problem on rogers during their part of the light cycle. the westbound left turn arrow is also too long. there is usually one or maybe two cars, but the light is longer than the eastbound turn arrow which gets significantly more traffic turning left
stoplight at 2nd st and walker intersection is stopping 2nd st traffic way too often. i don't know what changed recently, but it seems like it might now be part of the coordinated stoplight grid because there are often never any cars there when the light changes despite 2nd st traffic backing up. we will sit at the light at patterson, then sit at the light at walker, then sit at the light at rogers, but at least those other two lights have traffic that needs accommodating. walker does not.
The I 69 sign at the corner of Tapp and Leonards Springs has been hit and has fallen over. Drivers cannot see it. Looks beat up too. Might need to be replaced
