Porch light is bright, piercing bulb that casts shadows through the windows of neighboring properties. Tenants (who change most years) tend to leave it on for days/weeks at a time. The fixture is unshielded glass and the bulb sits below that fixture anyway.

The lights for the cars going east and west do not turn green at the same time, the one for cars going west turns green first. Since the cars turning onto College do not have a green arrow, they are waiting for the cars going east to drive first, but those cars don't have a green light yet. I've been honked at and waved at several times from the west cars waiting to turn onto College, but I don't have a green light to go. Please make the lights turn green at the same time, or give the cars going onto College a green arrow.

I contacted the property manager and she said that this light could not be shielded or dimmed or adjusted for "safety". I would like to see if this is something that would constitute a light violation for the city so that it could be adjusted. I made a previous request about this light due to it shining into our bedroom window after a tree was cut down which had been blocking much of the light. Is there something that could be done?
