Very bright lights shining on neighboring properties all night long. Makes it difficult to see. Dangerous and annoying.
Very bright lights shining on neighboring properties all night long. Makes it difficult to see. Dangerous and annoying.
There is an incredibly bright flood light at the back entrance of the house (on N Jackson St) the stays on all night. It comes through the window shades and curtains of my bedroom window and all three of my neighbors homes as well. I’m not sure what the regulation is for nuisance lights on private property but it’d be great to have this light to be warmer in color or at least be motion sensored so we can get some rest in between. The homeowner is not open to hearing feedback from the neighbors so sadly, we have to report this way.
I live directly across from the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity house and the light on their property shines directly into my bedroom window at night and on my head where I sleep. I was hoping it could be possible to make them turn them off? There is nobody living at the house right now so I am unsure how to go about asking them myself.
Pair of floodlights on second floor of back (north) side of house are shining directly at neighbor's house across alley and bathing it in bright, harsh light all night long.
The tall street light in the left upper corner of this picture also shines directly into my bedroom very bright perhaps it could be adjusted so it's not pointing directly into the third apartments(New). Thank you.
The light shines in my bedroom cycling on and off all through the night?I don't understand the purpose of this light? There already is too much unwanted lights in this area, plenty of lighting around the area. Please turn it off. Thank you The light is on the right side of 3rd st when entering into Summer House circle drive from the east.
Referring to issue# 192922: It is unclear why it was marked "invalid". The offending fixture is mounted to the upper NE corner of the west building at the back of the lot (the shack-like building located at the SW corner of the lot) and is emitting light aimed generally towards the N/NW, completely flooding the backside of 308 E. 12th with glare. The light also passes between 312 E. 12th and 308 E. 12th (see attached photograph), which then crosses 12th Street to light up *both* front doors of 305 E. 12th.
The "Grab and Go" store has a couple very bright lights on the west side of the building that shine on other buildings and that make it difficult to see when walking east in that general area at night Can the store be asked to redirect and/or shade at least the brighter of the two so that light is cast only on their property and not the houses nearby? It seems like a form of trespass.
An extremely bright and misdirected floodlight was recently installed on the shed-like building on the south portion of the lot. The fixture is casting dangerously bright and offensive glare on the back sides of the adjacent properties and the front of houses across the street. Please ask the absentee owner to follow normal procedures and guidelines when making changes to this once cute house that has unfortunately been allowed to be dragged down to its current condition.
