I contacted the property manager and she said that this light could not be shielded or dimmed or adjusted for "safety". I would like to see if this is something that would constitute a light violation for the city so that it could be adjusted. I made a previous request about this light due to it shining into our bedroom window after a tree was cut down which had been blocking much of the light. Is there something that could be done?

The bike store recently put up a super bright orange neon light in the window facing Grant Street that says Velotric. It lights up the apartments across the street all night long. Can they turn it off at night or move it to another window? This is a neighborhood not a mall. They are the only busines in the area.

Light pattern needs looked at! Always red on n walnut st. with NO traffic coming from a dead end south st. Needs adjusted to traffic patterns!!

There is an old light pole half way along the alley with a flood light high up that glares light across several lots and shines into my house and porch (748 S. Morton St.). This is not a Duke Energy pole. It is only identifiable by a number 4, about to fall off, and an inspection medallion dated 2003. The pole right at Morton, to which it is connected, says it is owned by Public Service Co. of Indiana, pole number punched into metal plaque 1627-709 and maybe also punched notches for Customer and Owned. An inspection medallion that says OSMOSE insp. 2018. D. This simplest way to end the light leakage would be to remove the light. If properly shielded to prevent the light leakage of course that would be okay too. I have photos, but I can't figure out how to add the file to this UReport. If you could send me an email address I can send the photos as a Word file. I would be glad to meet someone from the city and show them the source of the problem. Unshielded bright nuisance light South side of house, by side door, all night

The street lights need to be reangled or shielded so the light shines only onto the intersection and stops blinding the houses at the intersection. The light on the southwest corner is particularly bad due to the height of the land and the angle of the light. We issued several complaints when the intersection was re-done and nothing has ever been done. The light pollution is terrible at this intersection and there is no reason it should be brighter than even Walnut and Winslow. Please install light shields to angle the lighting properly.

10th Street crossing SR 46 east/west light remains red as long as train is crossing SR 46 south of intersection.

This unnecessary, gas station-style light seems far too tall and way too bright for this context of a residential neighborhood. It shines brightly into my second-story bedroom window (see photo) and wakes me during the night. No one living on this intersection wants it here. Bright outdoor light in the summer also disrupts firefly mating, causing their population to decline. Please remove it—or replace with a much shorter, *much dimmer*, insect-friendly, amber-lit lamp post, ideally also befitting a historic neighborhood. Thank you.
