Street Light on the NW Corner of E Hunter and S High St has not been working for several months. I reported it a couple of months ago and was contacted about it, but it has still not been repaired.
Street light at corner of High & Hunter not working. Lights church entrance and is an area where many students walk through at night. Light starts to come on, but stays very dim or goes back off.

Neighbors are wondering what this metal black box is, zip-tied to the entrance of the Eastside Neighborhood (where Hunter turns into the walking path on Mitchell). Is this something the City has installed and, if so, what is it? If it is not City-sanctioned, can it be removed? It's a little creepy. Thank you on behalf of Eastside neighbors.
Pot holes on High Street
Dear City of Bloomington Representative, Last night’s torrential rain brought a lot of water down our driveway from the street, some of which eventually ended up in our finished basement. We've lived at this address since 2009, and this has been a problem we've lived with since then. We’ve spent almost $15,000 on waterproofing our basement, installing storm drains at the bottom of our driveway, halfway down our driveway, and installing a berm on top of the driveway. Still, water that runs down the Anita Street takes a hard right into our driveway and overwhelms our systems. Anita Street slopes south to north, after it has turned from the east to west slope of East 2nd street. We believe a majority of the water coming down Anita Street actually ends up in our driveway. A lot of the water from the street also collects in the yard of our neighbor, Allyson Youat Schnable. Water that has come into our basement has damaged equipment, furniture, boxes and their contents, and is a threat to our foundation. I believe we have exhausted our options to comprehensively deal with the amount of storm water that is presented to us. We would love for the city to address the water coming down the street. The city has come out and measured several times for a culvert to be installed in front of my driveway. The problem is that the street is higher than my driveway and this house is at the bottom of a hill. When it rains all the debris from the street and houses above me come into my driveway. There is so much water that my basement can flood and the water level can easily reach several feet deep. I have at the moment blocks of stones in front of my driveway so that the debris and water keeps going down Mitchel street instead of blocking the small drainage grates that are in driveway. A hole has appeared next to the sidewalk by the grass,that goes under the sidewalk. It is about 24" deep and could be dangerous if the sidewalk caved in. It is about 8' in from the corner of University St on Eastside Drive. Could somebody check it please. Thanks
