Tall bushes are growing well over the sidewalk, forcing pedestrians off into the grass as they try to get from the sidewalk on High street to the crosswalk across Rogers to the Jackson Creek Trail. It is a particular challenge to navigate the sharp turn with a stroller when the bushes are so overgrown.
The pedestrian crosswalk signals at S. Walnut Street and E. Miller Drive do not work. It is impossible to cross at this point without these functioning.

This yard is all bamboo. The bamboo has grown out considerably into the street. and now some the stalks are completely parallel to the road and hang down considerably. Trucks would brush through it whenever. But cars just miss it, unless it rains when it actually is a bit dangerous hitting your car. The sidewalk in front of the house is impassable, too, with a lot of weed growth. Quite the neighborhood eyesore.
Walk sign only partially functional Location: SW Corner of College Ave and 6th (social cantina) The walk sign facing across 6th (towards jewelry store) isn't displaying the walk icon with the white bulbs. The orange bulbs do work and show the stop hand and the countdown when it's time.
I live at 1514 E. Elliston Drive, and I believe that their might be an underground stream that has developed. The road where it meets the curb continues to create little sink holes and the same is happening to my yard where it meets the curb of the street. I have tried filling with soil, but it appears to get washed away. I encourage any suggestions or help. James Kobow
Trash that appears to be from syringe injection (Nalaxone?). Didn't see a needle, but still thought it should be cleaned up. Was at the bench on the west side of Butler Park (east of baseball field, north of basketball court, adjacent to trail).
This address has a fenced in dog yard. Since the dogs have been removed the weeds have grown over five feet tall and cover the entire front yard.
Greetings, I spoke briefly with a street maintenance crew as they were working in front of my home - and thought I'd share the conversation here. Over the past few years, the gutter from in front of our home (1504 E Elliston) on down to Fenway Pl has deteriorated significantly to the point that our driveway & yard are sinking as well. I'm no longer able to get my cars out of my driveway without scraping the bottom. When we get major rainstorms, I've noticed that the water runs directly into the ground from the gaps in the gutters & road, which I'd imagine contributes to the gutters & road sinking. I appreciate that they were out there patching the holes, but the patching really is very temporary from my observation. I was wondering if the city would have any plans to shore up the foundation, perhaps rebuild the gutters in a way that my driveway/yard won't continue to sink. Left turn arrow from northbound College Mall Road onto westbound 2nd St. was not working at 5:35 PM on Monday August 13. Sat through four cycles of the light, and left turn arrow never came on. Due to heavy southbound traffic, only one car could turn left on cycle, during the yellow. Traffic was backed up in the northbound left lane of College Mall Road all the way back to Covenanter.
