Have not shoveled sidewalk.
Have not shoveled sidewalk.
Hello, I contacted earlier this week because many people in the West Point neighborhood (Woodhill and S. Larkspur) did not shovel their abutting sidewalks. Well, again, 24 hours after this second snowfall many people have not shoveled. Now the snow is very high in this neighborhood. Please help get people to shovel here. Thank you very much, Brandon Williams.
Yard not cut for several weeks. Notice on the door has not been read--no one home for many weeks. What can the city do next? It is getting pretty bad, especially in the back yard.
This is Circle K - A BUSINESS! Their sidewalks are still not clean from the snow that occurred days ago.
The sidewalks along this property (managed by Parker Real Estate) have not been shoveled free of snow ONCE this year. The sidewalks still have all the snow from earlier this week.
Excessive grass height. Old lawn mower, trash, children's toys, etc. sitting in the yard since last fall. Corner lot creates an unsightly appearance for the entire area.
Once again, I need to report excessive grass growth on the lot just west of my lot (105 E Sunny Slopes Dr, Bloomington). It is an area that doesn't appear to belong to anyone--it is the extension of what might have been planned for a street.
I have a client who has come to my office to report that there is a lot of garbage that is left around her house and across from her house in an empty lot. The garbage comes from her neighbor and she would like someone tell him he cannot spread his garbage outside of his property. She has confronted him before but he gets angry and irrational. My client has seen he leaves couches and large items in the empty lot in front of their house. She is asking someone please go look at the area and speak to him about this problem.
A tall plywood fence is being installed between the houses at 1000 and 1002 East Atwater in order to provide an area for drinking/partying. These "fence" panels are removed and stored during city business hours on the deck adjoining the house at 1002 East Atwater. These are the dates the fence has appeared: 8/23, 8/24, 8/25, 8/26 8/31, 9/2, 9/3, 9/4, 9/8, 9/9, 9/14, 9/15. In addition to hiding large crowds of kids drinking, the party area draws increased traffic, trash, noise and the possibility of the "fence" falling and injuring someone. In spite of the fact that the property owner and tenants have been notified that the fence is not allowed it is repeatedly put up and removed to facilitate crowds and loud parties. Would the city please take some action to prevent this from continuing?
This "temporary" fence has gone up every weekend since the end of August 2017, and the photo here is from today (Sat.Sept.16). It is held up by begs of sand or concrete(?), and pails with cinderblocks on them. The fence is made of plywood boards not attached to each other but resting on the aforesaid "supports". As the boards are large and heavy, it is likely they could hurt someone should they tip over during one of the many loud parties the fence enables. The fence also enables the partiers to avoid being seen by the police when passing by looking for the source of the loud parties and allows the partiers to espy the police cars coming to shut down their parties. Please inform the occupants of the house that they should not erect this fence, not only for the danger to passersby and to themselves, but because they requested permission to build such a fence from the Bloomington Historic Preservation Commission in June 2017 and permission was refused.
