Hi, Fourth Street between Jefferson and Roosevelt is a blacktop path, and there's honeysuckle and other shrubs growing well into the path near Jefferson. Poison ivy is also growing in several patches on either side of the path for about half a block from Jefferson toward Roosevelt. Could you please see what can be done about this? Thanks!
Poison ivy is growing along pedestrian path between Jefferson & Roosevelt at 4th St. (along the north side of the path, starting at Jefferson and going for maybe 40 or 50 feet to the east along the path). Poison ivy is starting to grow across the path in some places. Could this please be addressed? Thanks!
Every other street in our neighborhood has a "No Outlet" sign at the intersection before the end of that street, but we do not have one on N Roosevelt. We get a LOT of people trying to use Roosevelt st as a through road to 10th street, but the road ends. I live at 429 N Roosevelt, and it is really tight at the end of the road and we get countless people a day using our yard to turn around, damaging our yard. This could be solved by putting a "No Outlet" sign, similar to the same signs on Clark and Adams, so that people do not mistakenly go down our road and have to turn around in my yard. Thank you!
There are several street lights in the vicinity of the Baptist Church (maybe the name has changed) which is near the intersection of Woodscrest and 3rd Street that are not working. Could 3rd street in that area be driven at night to take a total tally of the lights that are out between High Street and College Mall Road? The construction plan and closures are ridiculous. We get no notice of any road closures and we now have one way in and out of our apartment complex, which leads to a congested one lane road. We received no notice of any road closures which included our side of 45/46 and Pete Ellis. How am I supposed to get to work on time when you change the roads and lights during rush hour traffic which causes major traffic jams. The overall thought and planning put into all road construction in Bloomington is abysmal. If giving notice of road closures is too difficult to do then try to focus on completing the construction on one road before starting construction on another.
One of the stop signs is missing at the corner of Clark and 7th. It is the sign on the east side of the intersection that stops westbound traffic. The other 3 signs appear to be intact.
There is a large tree that blocks the view of the east side of the road on 8th street from Roosevelt street. There have been many close calls with traffic and I think it's dangerous. The only way to see traffic coming from the east side is to pull up past the tree, but by then you are already halfway in the road. I would appreciate it if this tree could be cut down or at least cut in a way that makes it possible to see the road. The photo is the view from Roosevelt looking left to 8th street at the stop sign.
Hello! I live just off of the intersection of 5th Street and Bryan Avenue, right next to the IU Raintree House. I've noticed that one of the stop signs at the four way stop is missing, the post and all. I've seen people driving right through without stopping, and then realized that the sign was completely gone. It is the stop sign on the north east side of the intersection. Just wanted to let somebody know. Thank you for your help!
There needs to be a pedistrian crossing at the corner of Union and 5th. It is often dangerous to cross there.
