Potholes, Other Street Repair

This possibly is not so much a pothole as sunken pavement, but the effect is the same. Right as Tapp meets Leonard Springs there is a bad area that goes across most of Tapp Road, and it is necessary to come to a near stop to avoid being jarred, even if one has already stopped for the new traffic light.

I live at 1101 N College Ave, and I also work from home. Each day for hours at a time, city buses park on College Ave just in front of my building (15th and College, just in front of White Orchid Flowers and across the street from Big Red Liquor) for hours at a time. The out-of-service bus currently parked outside the building (0345), engine running the whole time, has been parked there for nearly two hours. I recognize and value the availability of public transportation. But the buses are loud. With double paned windows, the sound of the bus engine permeates my whole apartment, over and over every day. Please please find another place for the buses to idle, whether out of service or waiting for a route. It affects both my home and work life.

I am on the Gentry Qtrs.HOA board and wanted to compliment and thank the work crew who fixed the water leak at Gentry Quarters Condominiums on College Mall Road on 10/20/2015. The crew did a great job of fixing the leak and cleaning up the muddy mess that was the result and did so in a reasonable time. Its nice to see that kind of service from our city workers.

Dear Parking Ticket Grandparent,
Your "Notification of Overdue Citation" says that I can pay online at www.bloomington.in.gov; however that is the homepage's url, that is not where I would make a payment.
The correct url to make a payment is two pages past the homepage.
We want to make it easier for people to pay their bills. So rather than having them type in a url that makes them have to follow a couple of breadcrumbs, why not send out a notification with the correct url.
https://bloomington.t2hosted.com/cit/index.aspx
Or you could go the other way with it and go one step further. Tell that a payment can be made at www.google.com

The "Notice of Overdue Citation" paperwork that is sent out directs people to "submit a payment to:" www.bloomington.gov I did not find a box to fill with a "submit" button. That's because that is not the url for submitting a payment. Which is a good thing because that would never make sense to design a website with everything on the homepage.
Of course the correct url is: https://bloomington.t2hosted.com/cit/index.aspx
If they are going to give a url that is unnecessarily three steps before the actual url, why stop there? Just tell me to submit it to google.
Anyway, website and mobile apps folks, thanks for not having a submission field on the homepage, and next time you run into a transportation grandma or grandpa let them know that their notifications are bad, and that they should feel bad.

I CAN'T GET THE LOCATION DESIGNATION TO INDICATE MY POSITION.. However I am on the corner of East Maxwell Lane and South Highland Avenue. My address is 1300 E. Maxwell Lane.
A couple of days ago I noticed a hole about 8 or 10 inches across had opened up in what appears to be the easement in front of my house. It is about 8 inches deep and in the middle of the hole is the end of a metal pipe. You can just see the top portion of the pipe. It looks as though this pipe is in line with an open underground intersection of piping at Maxwell and Highland which which collects rainwater and runs south on Highland. . I don't know whether with rainfall there is water coming out of the pipe but there does seem to be erosion around the end of the pipe which I think must account for the hole forming.
If someone could come look at it and determine what's going on I would be most appreciative.
