Hello, 7 or 8 months ago I asked Xfinity/Comcast to correct a hanging cable of theirs after a storm knock a big tree limb into a telephone pole that took power and other cables out. Everything was repaired by Metronet & the Power Company but Xfinity/Comcast never came. It left a long cable that just hangs on our property is very annoying (and dangerous) when we are working, mowing, playing with grandson, etc. Xfinity/Comcast was contacted (claim #ECM0010285921) to come out and correct it, but they never did. It took a while to talk to a real person and even then it took so much explaining ever & over again through several transfers. You ever try to talk or chat with Xfinity/Comcast when you don't have an account with them? (I do not have an account with them) They ask over & over again for an account number! Very frustrating. After 45 minutes I was able to state my case about the hanging cable, they said they would send someone out but would have to have the "ok" from the City of Bloomington. I don't know what has happen since that day, but nothing has been done about it. I was hoping by emailing you we could get something done about it or help me on how to do so. Dry grate with inches of water around it. At least part of this grate is above grade so there is 2-3 inches of standing water after every rain. The sidewalk and yard get soaked by passing cars and there is usually standing water in the intersection that never drains, just eventually evaporates

Dear City of Bloomington, I want to begin by acknowledging the hard work and efforts of city employees during recent winter weather events. That work does not go unnoticed. However, the unfinished road conditions across the city are concerning. We are now over a week past the most recent snowfall, and many major roads within city limits remain uncleared or only partially cleared. Several roads still have lane blockages, inconsistent clearing, and obstructions that pose potential safety risks and increase the likelihood of accidents. When traveling in from surrounding rural areas, I expected conditions to be worse; however, county and state-maintained roads have been consistently attended to. Crews have been out daily addressing problem areas and ensuring all lanes—including shoulders—are cleared and returned to normal operating conditions. I respectfully ask that the City review the current road conditions within Bloomington and take the necessary steps to bring major roadways back to a safe and fully functional standard for residents and commuters. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
