I've tried getting to the City of Bloomington phone app to work and report this, but can't get it to function correctly. This pick-up has been parked in the yellow at the intersection of 6th & Waldron for at least 2 months. It is partially blocking the road and makes negotiating the turn difficult and dangerous in inclimate weather especially. It now has a flat tire and very expired plates.

I noticed ice here a few times last winter but thought it was just frozen road runoff and it wasn’t super cold last year so ice build-up wasn’t significant. But it’s been well below freezing and there shouldn’t be standing water. I didn’t observe anything like this in the spring, summer or fall. I assume there’s a small water line leak underground, perhaps underneath the road. The road is cracked along the edge so there may be some freeze/thaw going on. It doesn’t seem to be an emergency — the flow seems pretty minimal but it does generate some ice south of the wet area when below freezing. I wanted to report this now that I realize what is going on. I placed a stake with orange flagging tape in the area where it seems like water is coming to the surface. Thanks for looking into this. When turning right from S Highland Ave onto E Hillside Drive, vegetation on the left badly blocks the view of oncoming traffic on Hillside. You have to nose your car well out into the street to be able to see to the left and verify that it is safe to turn right onto Hillside. Please have that vegetation trimmed.
The city planted an oak tree in my yard. I wasn’t informed of that. I am highly allergic to oak pollen. I’m request it be removed. Trees are very expensive to maintain. That’s why there are no trees in the front yard. We don’t have sidewalks on Nancy Street.
A streetlight on my block is not working. The address of the streetlight is 3245 S. Southern Oaks Drive. It is identified with the number 10. I think this is a city-maintained light.
