For many years, kids have had problems walking to Rogers/Binford Elementary School on the south side of the sidewalk on E 1st St, just before High Street. There is an unused driveway to an empty lot, which is a pool of mud in wet weather. Neighbors have pointed this out to the council before. Neighbors have also come up with their own solutions - putting down boards, etc. I heard a school parent yesterday saying he planned to fill it in with gravel or cement because he had not had a response from the council. Might it be possible for you to repair this gap in the sidewalk permanently? Thank you!

This sidewalk at the southwest corner of 1st and High (about 30 yards west of High) has a cutout for a driveway but has for months years been a slippery mudpit/bumpy weed/dirt ditch. Please fill in the sidewalk so walking (and wheelchairs etc) can navigate the sidewalk safely (and avoid the 24/7 nuisance of dogs/pets hounding passersby across the street). East side of N High St. Growing pothole next to a brown mailbox in front of this house. It's down to the second layer of paving below. Trailers make loud boom noise when they hit it and the area is full of broken gravel destruction of the hole.

On southbound High Street at Hillside, left turn traffice signal activated during every cycle, whether there is a car in left-turn lane or not. Sensors need to be checked, please, since traffic backs up needlessly.

Since the repaving on High St. the light favors traffic on High instead of the more travelled road of Hillside causing traffic to move less smoothly along Hillside.

The construction contractor has placed the Road Closed barricades in two of the three lanes on High St. at the Hillside intersection. This is impeding the flow of traffic and is going to cause an accident. Once three cars fill the left turn lane, High St. is effectively blocked to North/South travel. There is now only more traffic going North on High St. with the roundabout closure. Please have the barricades removed or placed to the sides of the road. If someone cannot read the road closure signage properly, they will have to pay the price once they reach the closed roundabout.

With Rogers closed off everyone who lives off High street has to go up to use Moores Pike. The Road Closed sign on south High Street is too close to the light. If just one car on northbound high street is in the left hand turn lane, no cars can access southbound high street. Sign needs to be moved back significantly or need to deaignate left hand turn lane for southbound traffic. Thank you.

Since Roger Street is closed, all people who live off of high Street have to take high Street up to Morse Pike/Hillside. With these signs now up on both sides, it is down to one lane for no reason. There's no reason to have the northbound traffic on high Street blocked.
