There are at least 2 street lights out near this area. The first is on the north side of Kirkwood just about to the point you would turn south at the light. The next is near the little hamburger store (on that side of the street) just as you turn west onto west 3rd street
hole needs filled in asphalt at intersection of Morningside Drive and Park Lane.
Lots of potholes that need to be filled on W 15th St between Jackson and Madison
At the intersection of W. 9th Street and N. Maple (NOT "709" as your locator insists) is a long crevice in the roadway, getting deeper by the day. It lies along the south side of the intersection. Many cars no longer stop at the stop sign; they just "run" over this trench so they won't get stuck. Although the area is not exactly a high-traffic one, it gets many children, families, pedestrians—and this trench is a dangerous situation.
This isnt a pothole as much as a man created crater at the edge of a parking lot and a dirt area. I am afraid it will begin compromising the asphalt now since it is just sitting and eroding?
The alley between Tracks and Village Deli,leading back to bloominfoods, is in terrible shape, with many potholes.
At SR46 and 10th St. While a train is crossing SR46 I saw two disfunctional aspects of the signaling. 1) The pedestrian crossing requests are totally ignored while the train is crossing SR46. Pedestrian signals stayed red until the train had finished crossing SR46. 2) Eastbound 10th never was given a green signal while the train was crossing SR46. There is no reason that this direction should be kept from crossing and several cars ended up crossing against a red light during the green signal for westbound 10th.
There are numerous close calls and way too many accidents at this intersection because cars on Grant aren't aware that cross-traffic on 9th doesn't stop. There was an accident this afternoon and luckily everyone was fine, but I believe it could have been avoided if the city put up a little "Cross Traffic Does Not Stop" sign below the stop signs on Grant. The lawn at 310-316 W Kenwood Drive is overgrown and bushes are taking over the sidewalk.
