Hello, last month I received a water bill of incredible cost due to my apartment having a major leak in one of its toilets we were unaware of until the bill had arrived. Our property manager and his maintanence team was able to resolve the problem and the proof that is in the attached image.
I am wondering if there is any possible way to have a reduction in its cost! Thank you.

My water for the 5th time in 8 years has been shut off because it was confused with my neighbors. I also believe I have been charged for their water usage. Note they had 4 kids and 2 adults there I am by myself, and yet I had an $80 bill. I live at 2602 South Bryan St. and have been here sense 2009. The other resident was at 2602 ½. This happens after each neighbor moves out. Right now the vacant unit has water in it. This also happened to me about 2 or 3 weeks ago and I thought it was resolved that time. It is Bloomington City Water's responsibility to keep this from happening. I need 3 things from you (1) an apology for having done this so many times. (2) An actionable plan as to what you are going to do to stop this in the future. (3) A review of my utility bill for having been over charged.

I did not receive my bill this month and it is not on the website, but I already made my payment with a surcharge, only the balance due appears. I have had months of harassment on my account first charging me 28 to 40 dollars in my bill, the cover of my water meter was out of place for days and then I went to the office where they shouted to me that it was my fault the wrong size of my garbage cart and now not only does not get my receipt, you do not put it on the internet paging for me to know, now that you are charging me. Someone knows why and can inform me?

I had a remarkably high water bill last month that my property manager supposedly fixed on 3/12. My service bill date range for this last month was 3/2 till 4/2. I was wondering if I could have a day-by-day breakdown of my water usage. Specifically, I need to know if there was remarkably high water usage on or after 3/12. If there is none, then that means that the water leak was probably resolved but if there is still insane water usage after 3/12 then it still has not been resolved. Thank you!

Hi - I received a troubling bill from CBU back in January, and despite a few phone messages and emails to utilities.ar@bloomington.in.gov, I never received a response. In the mean-time, CBU apparently discovered an error in billing as my water usage went from an average of 4-5 in 2017 to 15 in January 2018, 8 in February 2018, and back to 4 in April - June. Alas, my most recent bill shows another spike to 7, despite no change in our home usage. Is there perhaps something going awry in our meter reading? I would appreciated an explanation for these sometimes wild fluctuations... Please have a look at my bill, CBU account 845-003 and provide some clarity. Response via email works best for me. For the last year, our bill has been about the exact same every month -- and the usage being listed as "3." For some reason, this month it has all of a sudden jumped to SEVEN. This seems highly unlikely, given that it is the middle of winter (therefore no lawn maintenance, etc.), we have not had any additional people moving in with us, no change in habits, etc. I would like to have someone come out and reread our meter, as I believe this is a large mistake. Or at least some explanation of what might have happened here? To go from a $40-50 bill to an $85 bill with no explanation and no changes in our household habits is just crazy. Our address is 3540 S Wickens Street (I could not get the little "choose location" thing to work for me at all).
