Hi, South High Streets traffic has much increased as it is the detour for Sare Road. It is also a road that many children walk on to get to Childs Elementary school in the mornings. Not only is the traffic heavier now, it seems faster. There are not many stop signs between Moore's Pike and the roundabout at Winslow and it seems to me that traffic is now just speeding through High, particularly in the mornings and wonder if something can be done. Each year I look on this site for information about the Bloomington City Golf Tournament held at Cascades. I can't even find a mention of the tournament. I can find info about the Adult Tennis Tournament, but not the golf tournament. I am looking for basic info such as qualifying dates, tournament round dates and costs. Any info would be appreciated. There is a large pothole/swamp forming in front of 104 N Roosevelt Street. Despite the fact that it hasn't rained in several days there is a large quantity of stagnant stinky water forming here that presents a hazard to drivers and pedestrians.

It is almost impossible to find a Section 8 home in this town. I hear its because there is so much money to be made off housing here. I want to know where I can find a decent home for my child and I to live. I've been looking for a decent home for almost 2 years now. I'm a great tenant, pay my rent on time, keep a clean home, and stay quiet. Despite these things, I can't find a home because we are low income. Where do I find a place to live in this town?!

Every time there is a football game at Memorial Stadium, they set off fireworks or cannons or something. Sometimes, like last night, they set them off after 10 and it seems like I've heard them even later than that. Does IU request an exemption to the noise ordinance? If so, why is it granted? Me and my sleepy infant son would like to know. Thanks.

The eastern edge of the city parking lot on S. Woodlawn across from Bryan Park Pool is bordered at its northern end by a screen of arbor vitae and a narrow buffer of land that is subject to excessive growth of weeds, brush, and small trees, as well as trash disposal. Clean-up is needed to protect the arbor vitae screen from encroachment and for aesthetic reasons.
