Please, when possible, make water fountains in City parks the kind with 3 levels: adult; child / wheelchair / dog.
Debris has built up under the bridge, not allowing water to pass through. I attached two pictures which hopefully has gone through. This is a huge concern since more rain is in the forecast and nowhere for the water to go. It’s the side of the bridge that is directly behind 109 Manor Circle thank you.
Our home and the houses around us have lost significant water pressure. We hired a plumber to look at the issue at our home thinking it was something wrong with our plumbing. They said this issue is coming up around the city and they think it's due to the new hydrants that were installed. This seems to make sense since there is a hydrant across the street from us that was recently replaced. We went from being able to have 3 showers running at one time to barely having enough water pressure for one to run immediately after these updates. The plumber suggested we contact the city to see what can be done since there's nothing they can do. Please let me know what our options are. Thanks.
Water is off. Thank you all for your continued maintenance.
There is no running water for the dogs.
We had a water damaged appartement and after 5 long days of staying in it we got moved to another unit. We were told pest control came for 2-3 cockroaches in the sink. We moved in and in the evening turns out it’s a whole infestation. They came from the dishwasher which was flooded and full of water in the back with many cockroaches there. There are babies which indicates a clear infestation and that they reproduce fast. They did not just stay in kitchen but started running everywhere. In the bathroom, in both bedrooms, in the hallway and living room. We had to move out in the middle of the night to our old water damaged unit at 1am. We received no confirmations that pest control has been conducted and that the situation was fixed before the unit could be rented to us. The only thing signing at this is the paper traps in the appartement (there is 4 of them). The cockroaches appeared in the evening but there was still daylight (5-6pm) which indicates a bigger colony than initial 2-3 cockroaches as we were told. Even with the light on at 10pm they were out in the kitchen and in other rooms too until midnight, moment when we started to pack to leave for the night.
We entered the appartement and discovered it was badly water damaged, bending floors, rotten cabinet, rotten pillars of the wardrobe with structure peeling off and with possible ongoing flooding everytime there’s rain. We also noticed a clear water bump on the ceiling. The water pressure is non existent with no warm water and the shower is leaking through the shower head and on the floor after taking a shower. Overall state of the appartement was in a very poor condition with dead bugs all over the floor. The move in inspection was done incorrectly and appartement was not even cleaned. We are students from Europe and really want a stable situation and need a house that is habitable soon because of starting the studies next week on Monday 24th. Here is the link to a Google drive with pictures of said appartement. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Hb2F0yvOXQUfRqOgsLfZCzUp9gnxzMNL
Fire hydrant blowing water at the corner of Rick Creek and Montclair
The sewer cover in this area was covered with soil over the winter when snowplows came through to clear the snow from the grassy area to locate water/sewer lines. You can no longer see it. It is possible that it needs to be cleaned out based on issues I'm experiencing in my home nearby.
