Another HELP WANTED sign on Covenanter. This is not the same one as in #171260. SW Corner of Covenanter and College Mall Rd. I hope that this is city property.
Blue and white 'S.O Industries Hiring' sign in the grass next to the road in front of the Tracks Music & Videos store at 415 E Kirkwood. Interestingly enough, they list the same phone number, 821-720-3055, as on the white and black Help Wanted signs, which are still all over town.
#170981 (Nov. 15, 2019) needs to be modified as follows: Help Wanted sign at the corner of Walker and W Second is gone; sign in the grass at the corner of Patterson and Second is still there, across from the Auto Glass store. Sign that was at the corner of W Second and Landmark is now lying flat in the grass in front of Sure Seal Contractors, no doubt to be put upright as soon as someone from that company spots it there.
Update on #171260: 2 signs near where Walnut and College merge are gone; Sign in the grass at the corner of Covenanter and College Mall Rd (#171278 from Dec. 22) is still there.
Stop sign is missing at Westminster and Winslow.
Timing is off on signal Moores Pike & College Mall Rd.
A STOP sign would help reduce speeds on Allendale, as well as help with safety of bikes as this is a Bike Route. This is a dangerous intersection for individuals as cars on Allendale go at high speeds, especially when turning.
There are no stop signs or speed bumps for a long section on Maxwell Lane between High Street and Jordan Avenue. The speed limit is 25. People are regularly driving 50. From Jordan heading east toward Sheridan there is a hill. Traffic turning or crossing at Mitchell aren’t able to see over the hill. If people drove the posted speed limit, it would not be an issue. There is regular honking as people speeding east on Maxwell crest the hill to find cars turning onto Maxwell from Mitchell or the residences. There are also many elementary students in the very near area, and a bus stop on Maxwell at Sheridan. A stop sign at Mitchell or Sheridan on Maxwell would drastically improve the safety of the area.
Wednesday, January 22 around 7pm I encountered an SUV driving north over the bridge on the B-Line as I was riding south on my bicycle on the B-Line. I passed the SUV and they continued driving north on the trail. Thursday, January 23 around 9am I encountered a red convertible sports car driving north on the B-Line towards the bridge as I was riding my bike north (I was behind the car, thankfully). The red car did not go over the bridge and turned east toward the parking lot, at least, but this seems like a problem that needs some signage or something.
