The tulip poplar planted along the S High St recreational path last autumn is showing no signs of life this spring. All of the other tulip poplars in the area are now fully leafed out. This is the last tree in the row that includes the yellowwoods north of Wimbleton St. Would love for it to be replaced this year. Thanks.
One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. The southwest corner of 4th and Rogers intersection has terrible drainage and creates a giant puddle that makes it impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into inches of pooled water. The harder it rains, the worse it gets. The giant puddle doesn't go away quickly, either. Please fix this sidewalk.
There are two signs that were blocking the sidewalk all summer saying that the sidewalk ahead was closed for construction. They never served any useful purpose and the construction has been done for weeks. Someone moved them onto the grass, but they should be taken away because you can still bump your head on them.

I am interested in having a pedestrian walkway that will cross at the north end of our parking lot. This is the driveway that is directly across from Starbucks. The Excel Center is a school for adults and we have several that take the bus. We also have students in wheelchairs that are using the bus system. There isn't a safe way to get across the street directly from our driveway across from Starbucks to the bus stop. Is it possible to have someone come and look or can we discuss a safe way for our students to cross. Because we are an all day campus, we also have students that cross the street for lunch. Recently, the director and I went out to look to see how easy it is to get across to the bus stop and we had a very difficult time. Can this be looked into further or a pedestrian button to be pushed with flashing lights for crossing? Similar to the bike trail across busy roads have is what I am thinking.
This is a 2 for 1. On the south side of 7th, there is a railroad tie used as a parking barrier from the eastern residence and overgrowth from the western residence.
I made the mistake of driving down 14th St at the new development today when I saw it was open. I cannot believe that the city allows something like this to exist! I have never seen a road in such bad condition within the city and it is upsetting that we continue to allow this to happen.
"Road Construction Ahead" sign is still at 206/208 South Clark St. even though the work on East Third appears to be finished.
Trees need trimming along the sidewalk as they are too low and hit you in the head when walking on the sidewalk.
