My water utility bill has been paid and I still have yet to get my water cut on. It’s been two days now. Me and my roommates are in school and we are in need of washing ourselves and our clothes. Please make this an urgent matter.
With kindness,
AG

The water meter for my house is in an awkward position and my plumber said to contact the utilities to have it set right. He recently had to shut off the water at the street to make a repair in my house.

I live in an apartment at this address. The power just flickered on and off. I can flush my toilet, but do not have running water.

Thank you Kathleen for updating ticket 175079.
This is a follow-up to your update. I do desire to remain anonymous on ureport system.
These storm sewers have long been functionally abandoned and really do not act as "ditches" anymore. In fact some of them seem to not have an inlet. It was not so much that that I though they should be "clean out" but more like the sharp metal hazard should be addressed. The exposed tops of at least three culverts have rusted through creating what I consider "sharp rusty hazards". Replacing those culverts (or repairing the rusty sections) is what I was thinking. Or maybe rotating them 180 degrees so the rusty part is down? My concern with the cleanout solution is the neighbors might not like the excavation unless the hazards are removed. I do not think anyone is complaining about the fact the culverts might not be doing much to handle water run off. Again I just walk my dog along Dodds and that is when I spotted the harzards. I do not live at these residences. Thank you again for the consideration.
Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

The low area of this block (1100 South between Washington and Lincoln) is in the old alley and is first flooded by the overflowing ditch along Davis Street and then water continues to flow up from damage pipe clean outs even when water in the ditch has lowered. The water peaked at about 1 foot higher than shown in the attached picture. There is a storm sewer manhole behind this garage, but no inlets are nearby. Is sanitary sewer infiltration to blame for this? Would fixing the clean outs lead to backups inside homes?

Our alley way floods when there are heavy floods. The neighbors who share this alley are concerned and ask for the city to assess this situation and find a solution. Please contact me for more information. One of the neighbors has a video to share of the water flow. Thanks

Utility crews cut into the road to install new water connection/meter. The patch of gravel they left behind was hastily and poorly covered with a thin layer of asphalt and is still filled with loose gravel. Cars are flinging gravel all over the street and the whole is getting larger by the day. Please address this soon, as it was a direct result of the city's actions and the poor work of city employees.

Lifeguard on duty lacks much focus on swimmers in the pool. For example, she has been thoroughly engrossed in her water bottle for the last 15 minutes: taking off the lid, gazing inside it, drinking from it, gazing inside it again, staring at the lid, taking another drink, etc. Fortunately, most lifeguards at Bryan Park pool are very attentive to their safety responsibilities.
