Can we get some attention on the empty giant boxes in East Bloomington? Kmart and Marsh? Maybe vacancy tax or financial incentives? But been years now. Bad for the area and whole town to just sit on good land in decent area not being used.

My house is at 2308 E Linden Hill Drive in the Stands. In the open area behind my house, which borders on the Stands Drive there is a manhole labelled "sanitary sewer". Nearby that manhole there are 3 or 4 apparent sink holes (one about 18 inches deep) that seem to have formed recently. They may have no connection with the sewer system, but I suggest that they be checked out to make certain that there is not a leak of some kind, that could cause more damage. I understand that we are following a stay at home order. Yet when I went for a run today I saw guys working on construction at the City's Switchyard park and many other sites across the city, trees are being trimmed on many roads in the city, and near the Kroger on South Walnut the tire store was open, the verizon store was open, of course the Kroger was open, and the daycare center up the street had a bunch of cars and kids playing in their playground. What's going on? It is disconcerting to say the least. thank you.

Roto-rooter has left a dangerous trench angled across a much used bike lane in front of 809 S Lincoln. Now (Coronavirus healthcare shortage) is not the time for new, avoidable injuries, and more people are riding this bike lane as their getting-exercise-during-emergency route.
