Curb box at NW corner of Blair and 11th appears to have a slow leak. When I lift the cap, the pipe is filled with water and slowly spilling out onto the sidewalk.
This property collects water in its basement, owner disposes of water by running a hose tube, to the property line, which causes soil erosion, utility pole erosion, and water on public sidewalk.
There appears to be a water leak underneath the medium/easement in front of the house at 934 W. Kirkwood Avenue between the bus stop and the tree.
Raw sewage from cleanout all over between sidewalk and street. This has happened sporadically for years, but several times in the last month.
There is a sewer access in the verge in front/slightly to the west of 930 w 6th. It looks like it has overflowed with sewage waste. It has happened a couple of times before and I believe it was cleaned up but this week it overflowed badly again and there’s currently no cap on the pipe.
I’ve noticed non native plant species on this City parcel and would like to know since we have been working on similar plant removal and treatment along the B Line who might be be ones to inquire of addressing the bush honeysuckle, wintercreeper et al on this triangler parcel just a few parcels from the back parking of Opportunity House. People speed out of RCA Park (and this has happened after criminal activity as well), so can traffic calming devices such as speed bumps please be considered? There are deer in the area, plus lots of kids moving into Osage Place.
There are holes in our line: one under the sidewalk, one under the street. They need to be fixed ASAP (we discovered the holes when a plumber was clearing a major clog the holes caused) and we need to know whose responsibility it is to take care of the issues under the road/sidewalk. The estimated cost of repair is incredibly high, and we're trying to find out what options/assistance might be available. Thank you for any information you can provide!
The bus stop at this location was vandalized over a month ago and all the glass panes removed. This is the closest stop to my house, and the temperatures with wind chill have been terrible recently. Please replace the glass panes in this structure promptly; it would be very much appreciated by members of your community and Bloomington Transit Users.
The white utility van has been sitting in the same position in a vacant parking lot (Grimes & Woodlawn) for over 2 weeks. I have seen sketchy cars pulling up along the side of the van at night and leaving a bit later - maybe drug activity? Also, the website listed on the van is nonexistent which adds to the oddness of this van.
