the 1700 blk of N Washington St is extremely difficult to drive on. constantly cars are parked on both sides of the street. there are no parking signs on the north bound side, but not on the south bound side. Also, is there a plan to place no parking signs in the 300 and 400 block on East 19th St? This area is also impassable throughout the day and night hours. Thank you.

Hi, as a cyclist, I find it awkward have any ability to signal my attention to cross the street East bound on W Allen St across S Walnut St. As it turns out, the signal button is on the North side of Allen, and if I stay in correct lane, there is no crossing button to activate. Is this the intended design? If I move over to the north side of the street, that places me in any oncoming traffic from cars turning on to Allen southbound from Walnut.
Also, can you let me know if the bridge on Allen between Walnut and the BLine trail will ever be opened? It is an eye sore, and I’ve noticed the area continues to deteriorate, with increased vandalism to vehicles at the Auto Haven Autoparts. This is sad.

The company painting the crosswalk at 17th & Bypass spent 30 minutes painting a crosswalk at the apex of traffic congestion at 3:30 pm to stop traffic for 35 goddamn minutes. Find better contractors.

Pete Ellis new complex is confusing and causing dangerous situations with drivers by blocking off major roads with "flagger ahead" instead of road closed. Worker when approaching says you cannot enter. Forcing left turns onto College Mall Road for instance among others to exit after nearing.

This new road is too small. Skinny. Aren’t there standards? This road can’t be legal. It has cost my daughter a new tire, caused a semi to be towed, and I’m afraid to use it for fear of getting scraped or stuck myself. It’s the only way to get to my local grocer Bloomingfoods.

Referring to case #183807 (May 14, 2023): Query the status of the orange safety barrier on S High Street near the intersection of High and E Wimbleton, which has been there for ages and is an eyesore. Maybe it is time to remind Duke Energy that they are supposed to do the work they need to do, so that the barrier finally can be removed.

There is a construction site on West First Street right beside my apartment building (The Canadian Apartments, 327 W First St) that has been active for some time now. The contractors there are extremely noisy and often begin work in the early morning hours, as early as 4:30am or 5:00am. I am writing because the site is so noisy and disruptive of rest, and to ask why the contractors do not have to obey any kind of quiet hours. Is there not a city ordinance against excessive noise in the nighttime/early daylight hours? I would very much like to rest undisturbed and these contractors seem not to be going anywhere anytime soon. Please make it stop.
Sincerely,
Thade Correa
