Case Date:

coyotes rage through Crestmont Park and surrounding properties nightly. Some neighbors report seeing individual coyotes in their yards. One neighbor reports seeing a coyote jump a fence on W 16th and killed a cat. Feral cats have been eaten. Last night I heard what sounded like coyote vs fox killing. One neighbor claims that the coyotes live in a hole they dug by a ditch on W. 16th west of Lindbergh. I sympathize with all the creatures who have been displaced by huge complexes in the area, But these guys have got to go. Beginning this Spring 2024 there have been motorcycles using the park as a low key motocross for at least two late teens boys. This began early April. I approached them after a couple of weeks of the noise from their intermittent use, stating that I did not think the park was an appropriate area to be riding. they countered, saying they had just that day had a conversation with a police officer, called out in response to a complaint, who told them they could ride only in the park and not on the street. these kids do run their bikes on 16th, N Hancock , and 15th steets. They have been in the park 3 to 4 days each week. I arrived home tonight about 10:05 and there were headlights and engine noise running in the park. This dos not sit well with me. I contribute time to clearing the park of invasive species so everyone can have better, larger access to the park, and an agent of the city is suggesting it is allowable to have motor vehicles mix with pedestrians freely. The noise is considerable at times in what is essentially my front yard

Apparently there is a plan to make the parking spot in front of my house(1 of 2) a handicap spot for the Banneker? This is what I was told by my neighbor. The Banneker has two designated spots next to their building with adjoining ramps. I was curious as to why this additional spot was necessary? Staff and visitors attending Banneker already use a good amount of the parking around the facility. I have a driveway, so it's not an issue for me, it just seems unnecessary.

Excessive Growth

1001 W Countryside LN

Case Date:
5/22/2020

Our neighbors at 1000 W Countryside Ln have an annual issue with keeping their lawn within acceptable (and City of Bloomington) standards. To date, they have not mowed at all this year. We are seeing an increase in wildlife and pest activity on our property as a result. I am hoping someone might stop by to take a look and prompt them to take action.
