Potholes, Other Street Repair

Case Date:
3/8/2024

Before you even begin, yes, I am aware of the area indicated is not part of your responsibility, but everything that is causing the issue is coming from City side. If I may, I’m very grateful that the city sand, salt, plow trucks pass this way each snowy icy day. But now the sand is making its own Sand-Bar. Which in turn, causes water to run across the road and wash out the opposite side. ( not a good thing for those of us that live on the opposite side) If I may request the street sweeper to pass aggressively directly in line with the building that is opposite to the address of 1604 Weimer Rd. that would be amazing. And since I’m pushing the envelope, could the driver of said sweeper, just continue to connect the last 100-yards onto Sudbury Dr. and score those brownie points with your neighbors. As always, please and thank you. Randy Craw

Other

2013 Kensington Pl, Bloomington, IN 47401, USA

Case Date:
3/8/2024

The neighbor at this location has been burning some kind of wood or other object repeatedly. It is causing consistent health issues for all of us who live at our house nearby. The smoke is so strong that when we walk outside, my mother immediately begins to have coughing fits. We have consulted the neighbor on this issue multiple times, but he continues to burn illegally in his back yard. We cannot see where the fire is, but the smoke comes to our house.

Blocked Street

2530 N Fritz Dr, Bloomington, IN 47404, USA

Case Date:
3/8/2024

Truck continues Parking on street… you’ve closed this again with no citation because there’s not a no parking sign?! On an active two lane street? That makes no sense. It’s a street. Not a parking spot. There is no street parking in this neighborhood. Never has been. We will let other HOAs no that per parking services we can park on any street as long as a sign isn’t erected. Just nonsense.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

Case Date:
3/9/2024

North Crescent Road has a bad patch job turned into a deep pothole right sode of the road when heading south. Left turn lane concrete on North Cresent is deteriorated just short of where it meets Fountain Drive. Fountain Drive has several deep potholes where it ys off from 11th Street. Fountain Drive has several potholes at the rail line. Lindbergh drive between 17th and 11th was under construction and never finished. Road is unsurfaced and there is a GIANT pothole that causes travel to be unsafe as drivers have to merge into the other lane to avoid.

Trails

Sherwood Oaks Park, 1600 E Elliston Dr, Bloomington, IN 47401, USA

Case Date:
3/10/2024

The debris dam on the creek below the bridge between Sherwood Oaks Park and Olcott Park has become even more effective. The water level at the bridge is visibly higher, and so much water is now being held back that there is a waterfall over one end of the dam. There has been more erosion of the flat land along the creek at the base of the trail through Olcott Woods. It is likely that the abundance of leaves in the creek this winter (from people disposing of leaves in the creek?) has made the dam more effective.
