I am a neighbor of this address. Twice in the past year, the two dogs who live at this property have been in the street and charged me and my dog. On another occasion, one of the dogs charged the property's fence and attempted to bite me by reaching *over* the fence. I have reported two of these instances to Animal Control. The last time (when the dog attempt to bite over the fence), the Animal Control officer told me that he had explained to the owners that their fence violates zoning by being too close to the sidewalk, and that the owners had expressed an intention to remove the fence in the front and keep the dogs in the back. However, I have heard, "We keep the dogs in the back" multiple times, when that is not true. The Animal Control Officer suggested that I could contact the city's zoning office, to have the fencing issue in the front yard addressed. I cannot find a way to contact Zoning specifically, so I am submitting the request here. FWIW, other people have had encounters with these dogs, though I don't know if they have reported it. I work in the County Government Center on the north end of the Showers Building. The HVAC unit associated with the City of Bloomington Government Center is creating so much noise that it is audible in my office. This is a public nuisance. Even to walk into the Showers Building at the 10th Street entrance is almost unbearable due to the screeching, incessant noise. Nobody should have to hear that awful noise. I appreciate your attention to this matter and look forward to some peace and quiet. Curious to know when this HVAC unit was installed and if it is slated for replacement anytime soon.

I need to get to wheel shelter opportunity lane. From Richmond Indiana in Walker and cannot get to even u haul only have social security not supposed to lift anything. I begged Dan Jones to help me and I can help pay just need to get there cannot afford motels will you help him in helping me please. I'm pd here till June 1st in rent. Please help him to help. Last few weeks we had the people laying fiber lines in our neighborhood. A few weeks ago when we had a lot of rain they had their utility sign in the tree plot near our dive way. Which caused this huge hole were the sign was. My picture really doesn't due this huge whole justice but here's a picture. It's on the left side of my drive if you are looking from the street. Is this something that they could come back and fix? I would appreciate it. Thanks

Per her video address, the mayor stands with the protesters at this location. Therefore, it appears the mayor endorses Hamas and believes that rape, torture, kidnapping and murder of innocent civilians is a legitimate response to Hamas’ perceived grievances in Gaza. I don’t see how, with such a gross deficiency in moral character, she can ever uphold, enforce or execute the rule of law for all persons.

Please ensure the City has substantial activity and advocacy planned for Pride month this year. The prior administration largely ignored this significant constituency, including during Pride. LGBTQ+ people are under major legislative and personal attack, and this mayor needs to stand up for them as members of our community. Is there even a LGBTQ+ board or commission to provide valued input to the administration?

Someone decided to set off fireworks at 4:00am last night. They have continued to do so periodically today. (I know the town policy is 9am-11pm on non-holidays, so that last bit is fine - this is just to let you know that whoever is setting off fireworks in the area started doing so at about 4:00am.)

I was towed out of my IU dorm (I have a parking permit, I was simply outside the allowed hours to park in that specific spot) and I’m not exactly contesting the tow, which was non-consensual by the way, but the fact that I am being charged well over $200 for fees for the tow them housing the car for mere hours. I read the city law and it says something along the lines of I shouldn’t be charged greater than $135 for a tow, so im a bit confused here where the extra hundred dollars or so is coming from. I also spoke with some city of Bloomington parking officials and the company that towed me, Wray automotive, doesn’t have a license apparently, so I’m not sure what’s up with that. She told me to file this u report. Please get back to me when you can, thank you!

To the east of Somersbe, people are camping in an area owned by the railroad, city, & county so nobody is taking responsibility. Trash (see pic), car has been removed, trash remains, human waste, dog waste, unleashed dogs, & fires. March 6, 2024, I was chased on the trail by an unstable person from the camping area, screaming “I’m going to get you.” I had to RUN & hide at a residence/business and they helped me. I now carry pepper spray. Who do we appeal to for help? This is an unsafe situation for the people camping as well as the neighbors, and toxic to our environment. Thank you
