Ms. Stanger had rented the TL lodge on 8/14/98. She decorated the lodge on 8/13 for her party. When she arrived the next day she found that someone had redecorated for an event on the 15th! Laurel called the other party and swiftly resolved the situation. Ms. Stanger thanked Laurel and was MOST grateful for all of her efforts!
Riedweg stated that the University Lutheran Church used to have asphalt curb along E-W alley and now that the alley has been repaved so many times the curb is now delete. Due to this problem, water is running off onto the Church's property in their basement. Please call either Riedweg or Betty Vance.
Mr. Barr is irate that there aren't a few parking spots reserved for citizens in the Farmers Market lot. He feels the City is treating the citizenry with disrespect by not reserving 5-6 of the Farmers Market spaces for citizens doing business in City Hall.
The Greyhound Bus Company would be using the Cab Co. as a drop off and pick-up area. They would be moving their business from S. Walnut Street to 217 W. 6th Street. McNeely would need the three spaces on the south side of 6th in front of his business as a loading zone for the bus to pull in. The busses would come off of Morton and be able to pull directly into this loading area for drop off/pick-up.
