Between the dog park in switchyard and tapp street on both side of the b-line there is nothing but homeless camps. Several had active fires when I was walking by. There are 30-40 stolen shopping carts and dozens if not hundreds of bicycles and bicycle parts. There is trash everywhere including the creek bed. I can only assume there is feces, drugs, and needles leaching into the ground and nearby ground streams. This has progressively gotten worse over the years. I’m praying the new administration does something about this problem not only here but all throughout town!

The mulching "pilot" confuses me. Several people I know participating have always mulched. So how is this a pilot? I'm happy to sign up to say that I mulch, as I do, but getting people who already mulch to say they like mulching and they were part of a pilot just isn't true? Amy I supposed to sign up? Or just folks who want to try mulching instead of bagging leaves for the first time?

People are acting like the 7 line is done but campus and downtown are only a small section. It's awesome! But we live the east end of town in the Park Ridge area. And it's our understanding the 7 line will go east of campus and connect through us. We are so excited. What is the timeline for this expansion east of campus to make a true east west bikeway?
