The large maple tree at the front of Fire Station #3 was struck by lightning about a year ago, the tree is showing signs of degeneration, and there are Large limbs that hang down over the apron of the fire station that protrude into the driving path of our emergency apparatus. I have asked for the tree to be removed, however the tree has some large deadfall limbs hanging over the sidewalk (Fall Hazard to pedestrians) and about 6-7 limbs that need to be removed to render it safe. This is a huge safety issue and needs to be addressed. The limb that hangs over the apron needs to be removed to allow apparatus to safely enter and exit the bay of Fire Station #3.

Poison ivy growing on sidewalk leading up the path to the park from Highland. This was reported by my husband last year and we believe someone just cut it off it’s coming back again and needs to be treated.

Construction of a Sidewalk: I urge you to install a sidewalk along Highland Avenue leading up to the entrance of Winslow Sports Park. This would provide a designated path for pedestrians and separate them from vehicular traffic, ensuring their safety. 2. Installation of a Clear Crosswalk: It is imperative to establish a clearly marked crosswalk at the park entrance, complete with visible signage and pedestrian indicators. Large (beautiful) sycamore on the SE corner of Fess/11th is encased in vines, some of which are poison ivy. This is right by the sidewalk, and appears to be in the City ROW. Is the trimming of the vines the responsibility of the owner? Elevate says IU owns this parcel. It looks like the vines are so heavy that it is stressing the tree. There is also a large maple (?) just east of it that has some vines, but it only looks like a Euonymous.

Hello. I was on the TreeKeeper website awhile back and saw that there used to be a tree in the parkway between the sidewalk and 13th street. One of the Bradford pear trees damaged in the storm has a large branch -- at base probably 8-9" in diameter-- broken off and caught up on other branches about 20' up. I think a good wind will bring it down probably at least partially on the sidewalk. It's the middle of three Bradford pears on the east side of S Fess between 703 and 701. Could be the whole tree needs to be taken down? Thanks!

Why is the city incapable of not parking on the sidewalk? You also still haven’t fixed the issue where images don’t attach to ureports properly. It’s a photo of a city truck blocking 100% of the sidewalk in front of building trades park. Glad I’m not in a wheelchair

This evening, March 4, 2024, around 6:11pm, we had 3 male adults ride down the B-Line trail on little motorbikes (not sure what they are technically called). There were 3 individuals. They were at the parking garage off 10th Street before going down the sidewalk to the B-Line, crossing Rogers St. at the trail Cross, and continuing down the B-Line trail towards Fairview St. I was able to take a quick 5second video of them and I screen grabbed a photo of each rider off of that. I however was only able to upload one photo to the form here. I'm not sure if they are allowed on the trail but I was thinking they weren't. If they are allowed it seems very dangerous to other trail users. If not allowed on the trail I am wondering if maybe the city could post a reminder on social media and possibly add signs at different points along the trail to remind users as to what is and isn't allowed on the trail. If you all want the video clip or the other screen grabbed images I am more than happy to get them to you all. Thanks for keeping our trail safe. It's one of my favorite things about Bloomington!

There are multiple low-hanging trees along S Park Ridge Road that make the sidewalk difficult to walk on. I believe these are city-maintained trees on the easement.
