Several potholes at the intersection of Smith Pike and Norway Drive, and the Hoosier Aloha Subdvision. East end of Norway where it joins Smith is awful. Might have something to do with the "sidewalk to nowhere" which just went up and their construction work. Sorry no picture at this time.
The sidewalk along the west side of Walnut street between the train tracks and the CVS is in bad shape. There are some large pieces of concrete that have come loose and have created several large tripping hazards.
With the snow that we had, the city plow trucks plowed in front of our house. While they plowed, they damaged a wooden retainer wall that was in front of our house. I have included images of the damage done. A lot of the wood pieces were strewn in our front yard, and I collected them and placed them in front of our retaining wall by the street. This is the first time so much damage has been done. We have lived in our house 3 years, and even despite the massive snow amounts we had last winter...the snow plows never damaged our property like they did this year. I have included pictures of the damage done.

In front of 600 and 516 W. Allen St. The sidewalk is very poor and dangerous here. One slab is sticking above another at a hard angle. Whenever it rains, this area always floods a large pool.
I live at the corner of 14th and Woodburn. I have called the police 2x in the past month or so. about cars parking in the yellow which is kind of faded, but also where the sidewalk is for you to cross. if people are coming off the dead end hill of woodburn you cant see around if someone parks there, and with 14th street not having to stop and it being busy this is dangerous. Not to mention 3 school buses pick and drop kids off there. Some of the buses have to make the turn off left on to 14th street which makes it difficult for them if someone is parked there. I hate having to call the police everytime as they are busy I am sure. But its starting to be an everyday problem. I shouldn't have to go around a car just to get my kid on and off the bus when I am clearly in the cross walk area of the sidewalk. I would like to see the curb painted again, and maybe a no parking from here to corner since it is dangerous for us who are coming off the hill to see around. Also maybe an increase in patrol in this area to deter people from parking there. Thanks Ashley
2210 Bent Tree lane, sidewalk floods. already reported, you guys dug a trench to the road. unfortunately this trench serves no purpose at all and is underwater. either raise sidewalk or make actual functional drainage solution, please.
The sidewalk on 2nd St between Arbutus and Eastside has large sections of hardened paving material that is a tripping hazard and an eyesore. It appears to be from a road repair there (perhaps where the water main broke) and may have been thrown up on the sidewalk with snow removal.
Sidewalk is cracked and uneven, also there is some slippery gravel on the sidewalk. Grating over drainage is missing as well.
On April 6th I reported eight sidewalk problems along the north side of Heather Dr. between Grasstree Ct. and Laurel Ct. I included photos and also mentioned these could be a safety hazard, especially for many of our older residents. The following day I received a call back which was much appreciated. Although some work has been done (see last paragraph), nothing at all was done to the most uneven slab. It is directly across from 700 Heather on the NORTH side of the street near a mailbox cluster. See 701_E_Heather_Dr.jpg. There is a full 2" difference in height. I am reporting this particular one again, because a resident tripped on it April 27th and received bruises and abrasions to her face and hands. Her name is Barbara Wachholz, and she lives at 3708 Grasstree Ct. A neighbor was concerned enough to photograph her face. Fortunately, no bones were broken. I notice some of these raised/uneven slabs were recently beveled or chipped off which could probably help. But I don't believe this was done thoroughly enough to help very much.
