There need to be stop signs here or some warning that there no longer are stop signs, you guys took out the stop signs now every car races down E 7th street. It's been two days and there has already been a car crash, this could be a student next. It is not safe at all and needs action taken immediately.
Heavy, metal sign support with three sandbags has been sitting on the sidewalk for weeks. It blocks wheelchairs and is hazardous at night. Please ask whatever department that left it there to remove it. Thank you.
Left turn arrow for 7th onto college does not work. Waited two green light cycles and never got a green arrow.
Intersection of 8th and Woodlawn is in desperate need of a marked/lighted crosswalk or even a stop sign. It is very dangerous to cross as a pedestrian because traffic simply does not stop for you.
In front of Upland Restaurant, sunflower plant is blocking the entire sidewalk and one of the parking meters. Please ask them to fix this!
Please assess this intersection (Fairview and 13th) at the top of a slight hill with a stop sign. The massive honeysuckle bush on the east side of Fairview obstructs view of stop sign until you are right up to the stop sign. Additionally, when you are stopped at 13th st and looking east there are oftentimes vehicles parked in front of the residence and the view to the east is blocked. I don't know how the yellow painted curbs to prohibit parking near stop signs are determined but this intersection may need something to prevent vehicles from parking right up to the stop sign. Street needs repaved. Filed u-report 8/14/21 reporting same problem which was closed 8/19/21 indicating hot patch crew sent to area. Street in front of my property on west side of street and extending down to Saratoga Drive remains with areas of broken down and damaged pavement that was not hot patched. The patching is a temporary fix that does not last due to the poor drainage. The drain culvert in front of my house is filled with road debris, sand and dirt. After any significant rain, this collects water which does not drain as the culverts need repaired to allow for better drainage to the road drain near Saratoga Drive. The road slopes to the west which compounds the problem. Was told last year the issue with the water collecting in front of my house in the culvert was due to asphalt that was placed at the end of my driveway blocking the flow of the water. My driveway was replaced in March with nothing blocking the culvert now, and it continues to be an issue. I noticed the badly damaged road and culvert on Saratoga Drive was repaired thankfully. Would like to see the same kind of repair done along this area of Park Ridge Rd , however, the majority of the roads and culverts in the addition need attention.
I picked city performance to hopefully get this issue resolved. I reported this sidewalk blocked on 07/06/2021 Ureport # 176470. This thing that’s blocking the sidewalk is still there blocking the sidewalk as it shows in the picture. As many people walk downtown, I find it disappointing that this hasn’t been resolved.
The noise from a constant flow of dump trucks and motorcycles is intolerable. The streets and walking paths are now coated with dirt and sand that washes out from around the street lights, gravel, road trash that requires CONSTANT removal and mostly from the dirt that comes out from uncovered dump trucks servicing the Trinitas project. Our rental house sits close to the road where the noise level is unacceptable. The retaining walls cause even more noise than before. We need some speed and noise control, please. Aren't there weight limits for residential streets? Semitrucks and trailers and full dump trucks do not belong on residential streets do they? I thought that's what "highways" were for.
