Responded... Hi Nick. First of all, thanks for submitting this uReport. The more folks that say something about it, the better. Second, I know this person and his mother is actually the chair of the Council for Community Accessibility. While neither have directly complained about this issue it has been on our radar as other people have seen him try to navigate that stretch of Smith Road. So I went out and did a full survey from 3rd to 10th Streets and reported every issue along that route. Then I participated in a discussion about it with the Engineering and Planning. It's not so easy to address this one because it's very narrow and can't be widened. It would also be fairly costly to do the whole route. But we have placed it on the sidewalk priority list that was submitted to Planning departments for their next round of sidewalk construction. We won't know how that very limited budget gets spent for a while, but sure hope it includes addressing this one. So that's where we stand on it. Fingers are crossed! My husband and I are grateful for the carefully cleared Jackson Creek Trail. Would it be possible to also clear the access sidewalk from the Sherwood Oaks parking lot to the trail itself? Negotiating it in snowy weather is a challenge for us elderly.

This sidewalk on the east side of the bridge at the Goat Farm has poor drainage and this pool has been there for 3 days. At first I thought it was due to snow, but now that it's melted I can see that it's due to the ground next to the sidewalk being too high.

Moving Trucks parked on sidewalk almost daily. Aren't there rules about parking on the sidewalk blocking access.

Sidewalk on west side of Sare Road between Moores Pike and Rogers Road still covered in snow and ice. Are the houses backing up to this sidewalk responsible for clearing, or is this the city's responsibility?

Sidewalks on west side of Sare Rd are becoming very challenging to use. Trees and bushes have encroached the point of having to step of sidewalk. In other areas the width has been reduced to half.

There is a dead deer between the sidewalk and Sare Rd, one block south of David St that needs to be picked up. It has been there since 11/3/21 late at night. thank you.

Sidewalk raised 3" on west side of sare, just south of Canada drive. There are two especially bad spots in front of Brookdale Senior living center. A woman fell here today and broke her shoulder.
