Street Light on the NW Corner of E Hunter and S High St has not been working for several months. I reported it a couple of months ago and was contacted about it, but it has still not been repaired.
During peak hours of the day (4-6:00pm), I would like to see a no left-turn sign from east-bound third street onto Rose or Union. In addition, it would be nice to have a no left-turn sign from those roads turning on third street. This area gets very congested during the standard commute to the east side and significant delays are caused by motorist trying to make those turns.
Residents at 814 S. Eastside Drive routinely park on their lawn to fit 4 to 5 vehicles in the driveway. There are 2 cars parked on the lawn.
The bike lanes and sharrows on 3rd St near campus have peeled off the pavement and need to be repainted.

Weeds are very high and growing over the sidewalk.
A Cedar tree needs to be removed. I contacted the city forester a couple of years ago (and got an affirmative reply from him) to put this action on a waiting list. I called once again a number of months ago and did not receive any reply. The tree, which I believe is on city property, is growing into the power lines and is interfering with the street light on the electrical pole. A hole has appeared next to the sidewalk by the grass,that goes under the sidewalk. It is about 24" deep and could be dangerous if the sidewalk caved in. It is about 8' in from the corner of University St on Eastside Drive. Could somebody check it please. Thanks
There are no stop signs or speed bumps for a long section on Maxwell Lane between High Street and Jordan Avenue. The speed limit is 25. People are regularly driving 50. From Jordan heading east toward Sheridan there is a hill. Traffic turning or crossing at Mitchell aren’t able to see over the hill. If people drove the posted speed limit, it would not be an issue. There is regular honking as people speeding east on Maxwell crest the hill to find cars turning onto Maxwell from Mitchell or the residences. There are also many elementary students in the very near area, and a bus stop on Maxwell at Sheridan. A stop sign at Mitchell or Sheridan on Maxwell would drastically improve the safety of the area.
