Street Lights
801-911 South Clarizz Boulevard
- Case Date:
- 12/17/2014
To Whom It May Concern:
I live in one of the apartment complexes on Clarizz Blvd, and for the most part feel very safe. However, I feel that there is inadequate street lighting all along Clarizz Blvd, but especially from E. Covenanter drive to the intersection at E. Buick Cadillac Blvd. As you know, there are bus stops along the length of Clarizz, and during the times I walk to/from or wait for the bus at night, it can be pitch black - to the point where I can't see my hand in front of my face.
Would your department consider installing more street lights in this area?
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Rachel Wood
Abandoned Vehicle
1101 N Lincoln ST

There is a green Chevy Cavalier convertible which has a flat left front tire which we believe has been abandoned. It is parked on North Lincoln Street between 15th and 16th, on the west side of the street. It has not moved in about 4 months now and has always had that flat tire. As such, we believe it has been abandoned.

Please cancel my request for a street light to be repaired at 912 S. Brighton Crest. My neighbor and I have discovered that her bright Christmas lights makes the street light think it is daylight. When she turns her lights off, the street light comes on.

Water Utility Billing Problems
- Case Date:
- 12/19/2014
Please help me to understand my water bill and why I am continuing to be charged.
My name is Bob Schimp account # 33653-019 and own 522 Graham Place.
Parker Real Estate manages the property and has continued to pay the utility bills sent to them. They have been instructed not to have the water turned on.
The previous tenant was evicted and left a water bill of $159 and the water was disconnected for non-payment.
In September or October I was working in the unit and a man from your office arrived and turned the water on, I immediately went to the office and asked for the water to be turned off. I was told the water would be automatically turned on and billed to me as the owner unless I signed a form at your office which I did (the signed form is on file in your office).
The water is currently OFF and has not been turned on since being shut off for non-payment, even as you continue to bill me for water usage.
Please under NO circumstances turn the water on as the condo has been remodeled with new carpet paint and kitchen fixtures. Until pressure checks are completed water leaks may damage the new construction.
I also ask that you not turn on water until the arrears from the previous tenant is paid and I not be charged while the service has been disconnected.

No Parking from here to corner sign is seriously needed at 304 N. Hopewell and W. Habitat St. I live at the end of Habitat St. and have to back out to Hopewell St. To leave. We have already had an accident with the people who insist on parking at the very end of Habitat St. Thus creating a hazard and contributing to accidents. We have had the police talk to them twice but they continue to park in that area. A sign would help eliminate another accident and the police would be able to ticket them if the sign is ignored. Please help as this situation has been ongoing for a year and could become a bigger problem than it is now. Thank you.
