Tenant using fire pit to burn trash in their backyard inside city limits: 2521 S Rogers St. Previous tenant burned a lot of stuff before they moved. The new tenant must think it's ok also.
There is a old white Ford truck (I believe it’s from the 70’s) that is broke down and it’s been here for while. Neighbor been working on it off and on which I see that it’s against city ordinance due to it parked on Howe. Just would like it moved. Definitely an eye sore. Would like to city to look in this.
Not a huge deal but my neighbors park in the yard off the alley in the grass making it hard to use the alley which gets used a lot...they have designated parking behind their house but don’t use it...
We are appalled that the bloomington police dept is not wearing masks and one officer said he didnt like it so he wasnt wearing one. We sent our students to school last week and they are following the rules wearing masks, social distancing and not gathering in large groups. They have been informed by IU they could get suspended etc by not following these rules. How can law enforcement not do the same, its setting a horrible example and I'm appalled nothing is being done about it. Masks are mandated in Monroe County those officers not wearing them should be dealt with just like our students if they dont follow the rules. We as parents expect this to be handle immediately
The planter at the Switchyard Park entrance on Rogers Street (south of the warehouse, east of the power substation) is heavily overgrown with perfectly selected flora to obscure the line of sight for people trying to exit the park. I was driving north on Rogers and a car almost pulled out into the road in front of me. I could barely see them behind the overgrowth and they obviously could not see me. That entire stretch of Rogers by the park is looking a little rough, to be honest. There is a lot of overgrown stuff along Rogers. The line of sight exiting the park is the most egregious and the most dangerous. Can this get taken care of before someone gets hurt? Thanks.
I Googled "Bloomington Rail Trail" and it shows up under the City Parks Department, as I thought was the case. So, I am submitting this report for the City, even though it is along a County road. The crossing of the Rail Trail at Rogers street south of Gordon Pike and north of That Road (which road? That Road) is overgrown on the southeast side of the crossing. When driving on Rogers from the south headed north, it is difficult to see the trail and trail users on the east side of Rogers. People drive fast on this part of Rogers. Can the city clean up this line of sight issue so people are safer crossing the road? Thanks.
The tree by the mailbox needs to be trimmed.
There is a dead tree by the street. Someone should look at it.
Plants in the way of the line of sight at the SW corner of S Fairview and W Dodds. A hazard. Please rectify ASAP
