Car parked in yard.
Rental house (too many renters) across the street from us facing Sare Road (right by Spicewood II sign) has a large sectional that has been sitting in driveway for a month. This is a nice neighborhood not accustomed to seeing debris sitting in driveways. There is also a large box truck that is continually parked on the grass. This is what happens when rentals are not inspected….the decks are falling off & the gutters are drooping…totally unacceptable. Thank you for checking on this situation. Please get back to me. Resident called this afternoon stating the light at Patterson/Fairview is not working correctly. It cycles through at odd times and does not seem to follow the sensors in the road.
New Modular Home that was recently dropped off at 939 N Fairview Street is routing all off their Gutter run off from all 4 down spouts to run down onto neighbors property at 941 N Fairview St?
I was mowing my yard yesterday evening when I noticed a bicycle left on W. Seventh Street. I did not think about it until I read that the IUPD has had a number of bicycle thefts. So I went out today and the bicycle is still there. I leaned it by a light pole. It is an older Schwinn, dark blue, 15-speed, without a seat. Maybe it is one of the bicycles that was stolen.
Angle of alleyway is too steep, can’t get van up it without scraping front and back. Even smaller subarus scrape front end going up. Tried going through alleyway behind garage but owner behind that mows it complained were killing the grass. Don’t know how else to get to our driveway without ruining underside of cars
Street needs repaved. Filed u-report 8/14/21 reporting same problem which was closed 8/19/21 indicating hot patch crew sent to area. Street in front of my property on west side of street and extending down to Saratoga Drive remains with areas of broken down and damaged pavement that was not hot patched. The patching is a temporary fix that does not last due to the poor drainage. The drain culvert in front of my house is filled with road debris, sand and dirt. After any significant rain, this collects water which does not drain as the culverts need repaired to allow for better drainage to the road drain near Saratoga Drive. The road slopes to the west which compounds the problem. Was told last year the issue with the water collecting in front of my house in the culvert was due to asphalt that was placed at the end of my driveway blocking the flow of the water. My driveway was replaced in March with nothing blocking the culvert now, and it continues to be an issue. I noticed the badly damaged road and culvert on Saratoga Drive was repaired thankfully. Would like to see the same kind of repair done along this area of Park Ridge Rd , however, the majority of the roads and culverts in the addition need attention.
On the east side of College Avenue close to soul juice, storm drain is completely covered with debris.
In regards to the alley in between Lincoln and Grant, behind the Boys and Girls club. As you may know, that stretch of Lincoln is closed due to construction. Currently the only way to access The Boys and Girls Club is through the alley. The Club has asked parents to treat it as a one way, following the flow of Lincoln. Though of course not many are abiding and it’s almost caused me an accident last week. I had a small fender bender in that alley in 2019, he sped through one of the entrances to the alley going towards Grant as I was moving towards 3rd. With heavier traffic through this area for the Club, it’s a creating dangerous mess. I would at the very least suggest temporary “One Way” signs following the flow of Lincoln St during this construction to prevent any accidents and congestion. Thank you for your time.
