Loose trash littered everywhere
Loose trash littered everywhere
The drainage from the street all runs down to the ONE drainage pipe and the interior or the structure that houses the pipe is deteriorating to the point that the bricks are washing out and piling up at the exit of the pipe. It's to the point that the entire system could fail and flood the home
Next to the railroad tracks on John Hinkle Pl and N Pete Ellis Dr there is loads of trash from homeless individuals.
There is broken glass out in the road at the three way intersection of Buick Cadillac Blvd and Clarizz Blvd. There are encampments in Latimer Woods that are bringing this trash and glass out.
I’ve noticed the incident of local people in town getting vitiligo seems to be going up. The occurrence in the general population is believed 22/100,000. I can count 8 people who have the condition and I know that I don’t know nearly half the population of Bloomington. So anecdotally that leads me to believe that it is possible that the occurrence in town is much higher than the general population. This of course piqued my curiosity. So I did some research as to the cause of vitiligo. Although there are many potential causes, one cause that stuck out to me is environmental exposure to phenol-containing chemicals. So I looked up what phenol chemicals are and used for. Although they are used for many industrial products, I learned that they are most often used to clean medical devices. https://www.chemicalsafetyfacts.org/chemicals/phenol/ This made me think about the cleaning facility that Cook medical has in Ellettsville. And made me wonder if there is a company in town that uses this type of cleaning agent (Cook or some other) that may be spreading into our environment and causing exposure risk to the general population. So my question is: has the health department recieved data about the prevalence of vitiligo in our community and if so is it elevated in comparison to national averages? And if so, will there be an action plan to reduce the exposure risks to our community?
I already reported this issue just now. But I could not attach a picture at that time. This one is one among a few potholes at the entrance of Laurelwood Drive.
The whole cul de sac is in terrible condition. At the entrance of the Laurelwood Drive also there are few serious pot holes. I could not attach two photos in one complaint.
Every single week they leave my trashcan in the middle of my driveway. I put it in the same spot as everybody else does and down the whole street not one person has their trashcan in their driveway so I have let it go a long time months now and it keeps happening. I’m not sure why I just me but when I leave for work and my nice work clothes and it’s raining and nasty out I don’t wanna get out and move my trash Early in the morning. Thank you
Back sidewalk entrance to people’s park is blocked by a person sleeping and by a sleeping cot. It seems to show up during the day.
Stack of brush/branches from storm remain at curb and have been there a couple of weeks. Please collect.
