uReport Case #166260: Hi, This repair has not been made yet. There are no indications that a utility locator service has marked the immediate area. The cone disappeared a long time ago & school buses keep running over the storm inlet. Was wondering when the repair might happen? If the grate collapses, it's going to seriously damage a vehicle. On Sunday there was a break in a water pipe that necessitated digging up the street in from of our house and mail box.The work was left unfinished, I assume due to the snow fall. Is it possible t repair and finish now that the weather has improved. It is difficult for the mailman to deliver mail.
3635 S. Bainbridge Dr. All three storm inlets during flash flooding events aren't able to keep up with the water demand which then sends water down our driveway. About 3 years ago a third drain was installed to help mitigate the issue but hasn't worked the way it was intended. We left for the weekend for a funeral this past weekend and the drains became clogged which then sent water down our driveway and flooded the basement for the second time this year. First time happened in November due to leaves and the leave pickup program overwhelming our storm inlets. We had a swell put in to mitigate the driveway water and it has worked well. However, when the storm drains clog, the swell is overwhelmed. Please help.
3600 block of Brownridge Rd on north side: Due to flooding, the stream bed is encroaching on the road surface so that now there's a 3-ft. drop eroded up to the black-top. It's beginning to undermine the road surface. Some local erosion control for about a 10-foot stretch should arrest the problem for the foreseeable future, I'd think. Of course, we could wait until the road gets undercut, and that'd be quite a bit more complicated, I think.
Repaired sidewalk cracked again due to heavy city trucks traffic on easement. My driveway also cracked and broken in same area.
On going street repair going on many weeks. City Utilities sign in place, corner of E. Longview and Glenwood west. Please raise the priority of this repair, two wheelchair neighbors on that street have to maneuver around the repair into the street to use the sidewalk.
Live in Prospect Hill and have noticed the storm sewer drains have not been cleaned . Many of them are caked with mud, twigs etc.
The Hunter foot path, between Eastside and Mitchell, which is maintained by the city, has a spring bubbling up through the pavement at the west end of the house at 500 Eastside Drive. You can see that the water is undercutting the pavement, and the city can expect that it will collapse in upon itself sooner or later. Hopefully, not when somebody is walking or biking over it.
Our shower has flooded with water and fecal matter twice in the past two days.
