Northeast corner on alleyway next to First United Methodist Church on Washington between Kirkwood and 4th Streets. This broken-up pavement makes coming off this sidewalk onto the alleyway fairly dangerous if you're in a wheelchair.

Downed trees are restricting the flow of stormwater runoff through the ditch, close to where it intersects the B Line Trail. This is causing the adjacent lot to flood during periods of heavy rain.

I filed a report about three weeks ago about a blocked storm drain that keeps overflowing and spilling water into our yard. It overflowed yesterday, and it's like a river of water running over the street and into our yard. The water is doing considerable damage to our side and back yard--it's basically underwater whenever it rains. This really does require some serious attention. Either a more thorough clean up or repair. It's costing us 100s if not 1000s of dollars in repairs to our yard. Please try to fix this.
The storm drain is clogged on the 1300 block of W 6th Street, and our house is 1315 west 6th street.

The storm pipe/drain does not appear to have sufficient capacity to handle flash flood events. Storm water from the neighborhood overflowed from the street, and then flowed across the neighbor's driveway and down the slope into our property, flooding our crawl space. Last night there was literally a small river of water running aside and into our house, moving so fast that I could not safely walk outside until the rain subsided.
We need an engineer to evaluate the current drainage system, in particular the capacity of the storm pipe and culvert that runs directly between our property and the neighbor's. We can make some mitigating improvements on our own property, but we really are not equipped to handle the sheer volume of stormwater from the entire neighborhood during very heavy periods of rain like we saw last night.
I took some videos during the flood that we can send as well.

Corner of RCA Park and Susie St. During heavy rains manhole cover lid comes up into street spurting water from sewer. Ditch next to Susie St has debris and overgrown trees that cause flooding into yards and during heavy rains water from storm sewer lid being open causes water to drain onto Susie St causing driveways to flood and cause damage to surrounding areas

Yesterday, during the huge mid-day rainstorm, water came up through the floor drain in our basement at 2638 East Dekist Street. It had a sewage odor and was muddy looking and reached a level of about 4 inches, covering the entire floor and soaking everything. The basement toilet also had dirty water come into it. I called the city utilities hotline and reported the incident twice, speaking to the same person each time. The water receded after a couple hours. We have yet to assess the damage and start to clean up. Last year on 2/11/18 our basement toilet erupted (see case #163027). We had a plumber verify that the city sewer was the source of the issue. We did not claim any damages, yet the city did not reimburse us the cost of the plumbing assessment. We would appreciate someone responding to this current incident.

Sewage is backing up in our basement after today's rain at 901 W Briarcliff Dr, Bloomington IN 47404. We have rotorooter coming out, but in the past roots in the city line in front of the house caused backups. Please check this line as soon as possible to see if it needs roots cut. We've experienced a catastrophic backup due to problems in the city's line before and wish to avoid a recurrence. Thank you very much for your help in this matter.
