High Street between Southdowns and Woodstock: there are several very large potholes (including one just north of the Woodstock intersection). I believe all are on the easternmost lane. Thank you!
The bus stop “landing pad” outside of our entrance on East Second Street needs to be replaced with perhaps concrete instead of the current asphalt. The asphalt is crumbling and ground is being pushed up and over the curb as a result. It’s a muddy mess and unsightly. The condition of the street has deteriorated a great deal since the photo in the report was taken. The asphalt is gone and the mud in now over the curb and onto the grass.
There is a hole in the asphalt in front of the storm drain.
At 1500 S. High, just South of Hillside, a storm culvert is blocked and needs to be cleaned off.
Storm drain is backing up and water is starting to reach his front steps.
On Morton Street, between 6th and 7th Street, on the West side of the road, the storm inlet has sunk and there is a small void to the side of it.
The property owner, Rega Wood, is concerned about the drainage coming from the north and crossing onto her property. The existing inlets in Rose Ave. cannot handle the amount of water they receive.
At the intersection of Union & 5th street there is a very steep drop at this storm drain.
There are leaves covering the sidewalk in front of 409 S. High Street. A stroller can't use the sw at this moment. The citizen doesn't blame the homeowner because they are putting them out their for the City to vacuum them. Maybe there can be an early pickup so the sw will be usable again & this dangerous situation eliminated.
