Truck parked at 11th and Summit with large amount of uncovered trash in the back.
Parking sign on 200 S. Grant -eastside of street tore down, laying in grass.
Dave Sorokoty of Office Easel called to tell us the back of the bus station was hit by vandals last night. Apparently they used paint balloons and some of the paint landed near the top of the building.
Anonymous caller asked if the utility cuts on College Ave between 11th and 12th could be patched. Cuts are part of a large construction project. Caller said street is in very bad shape and could result in tire damage, etc.
Called OOTM and asked to remain anonymous but nature of her comments (and number on caller id) indicated it was Ms. Keene. Went into a long diatribe about her current landlord but didn't have any specifics on what the City should do to alleviate the problem. Said she has contacted the ICLU and will write a letter to the H-T.
Ms. Jackson called to report a suspicious man in a white Buick Century was parked at the apartments and was watching kids as they got on the bus. She also said the man appeared to be taking notes. This information was forwarded to Chief Diekhoff.
Mr. Garus called to let us know Jerry Bales in the Utilities Dept. is rude and he doesn't want to put up with him anymore. He said it this happens again, he will take legal action against him.
Mr. Michael called several times this morning and, at times, was angry and belligerent. He said he is being "discriminated against" because the prosecutor's office will not give him another extention on a speeding ticket. Diane suggested he talk to Barbara McKinney.
Problem w/ landlord.
