Missed paying her bill on time, rec'd reminder notice, called TCI 1/5, made arrangements to pay on Friday. On Weds, man came to disconnect service. She called office, they told her could avoid disconnect if she gives him a check. He said he could not take a check, only cash and disconnected her. Her daughter took check in, but TCI won't reconnect 'til next week, is charging fee, and told her they had no supervisor she could talk to. Subs. feels she tried to cooperate & is being trtd unfair.
Mr. Tarter had info. to pass on to a detective reg. a crime and says the dispatch office was rude to him when he was trying to help. just north of county view apartments, there is a line of trees on the back side of the sidewalk at Rockport Hills that need to be trimmed as his daughter cannot ride her bike down the sidewalk. I told him that I would have someone take a look and notify the property owner that the trees needed to be trimmed. Caller was not happy that it would be the property owners responsiblity as the city probably told the developer that those trees needed to be there. He has contacted the mayors office.
