Mr. Leiter is calling b/c he feels that there is very poor planning when it comes to sidewalks currently being installed on E. 3rd St., and in the past on Smith Road. Concrete is being placed around the mailbox posts which will rott or rust way before the concrete will erode. He is thinking of the disabled who can access the sidewalks due to the curb cuts, but then once they're on it they cannot utilize it because the mailboxes get in the way!

Headley Road - on curve near the back entrance to the IU Foundation. Previous owner used to keep pine trees cut back, new owner has let them get overgrown. Pines are close to the road and are hanging in and over roadway, making curve dangerous.

Last month did not receive cable guide; subscriber called Insight and was told the guide had been replaced with a scrolling guide on channel 58. Noticed on bill he had paid $1.50 instead of $1.00 - was told he would be refunded on November's bill. He has been a cable customer since 1987, and he is disappointed with Insight.

He has Starz/Encore/HBO that he pays around $53.00 for. As part of this he receives channels 14 & 34. Channel 34 is not very clear. Upon calling Insight they informed him that these 2 channels would be switching to 78 & 77 and he would need to have a pay box to get the channels. The pay box is an additional $4.00 extra a month. Ms. Harris called our office on 1/26 complaining that her children were almost hit by a bus (bus #4, driver Glenn). She also complained that she was called the "n" word (which is a derogatory statement for an African American) by the bus driver), after she wanted to get off and he wouldn't open the doors for her and her children to get off the bus. She had stated that she was "very upset" by the service and names she was called by this bus driver.

Ms. Brashaber is concerned about lack of street lighting on N. Pete Ellis Dr between Amy Ln and Braeside Dr. She stated that there have been accidents in the past and asked that a street light be installed in this location.
