To whom it may concern: I'm writing today about the intersection of S. Hillsdale Dr and E 3rd St in Bloomington, Indiana. Specifically, I'm concerned with the functioning of the traffic signal at that intersection. In short, because the stop line is set pretty far back on Westbound lane of E 3rd St, Westbound drivers rushing through the yellow light have to go a very long way, much longer than those of us using the yellow to make a left turn northbound onto Hillsdale (when there is traffic, there is no choice except making left on the yellow). I'm not doing a great job explaining it here but given the long set-back, it seems odd that both of those lights turn yellow at the same time. I'd be happy to explain better via phone and/or someone could easily observe this dynamic at said intersection. Thanks

I would like to request that a turn signal be added to the traffic lights at the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection for drivers on 3rd Street coming from the East who wish to turn South onto Woodscrest. There is already a turn signal on Woodscrest for drivers who are driving North and turn West onto 3rd Street, and that turn signal is extremely helpful. However, there is no turn signal on 3rd Street for people who wish to turn left onto Woodscrest after coming from the East, and as a result, the turn is very difficult and often even unsafe to make. Often times, drivers never have a chance to make a left turn while the light is green due to the often high traffic on 3rd street, and so the drivers are able to turn only when the light turns yellow. Adding a turn signal there would undoubtedly increase the safety for everyone at that intersection. Many of the other intersections on 3rd Street have traffic lights with left turn signals, even for both the East and West directions, and I don't think that the 3rd Street and Woodscrest intersection should continue to lack a turn signal for drivers turning left onto Woodscrest. Large dead tree branch has fallen from High Point Commercial Property into backyard at 717 N Washington St. inspector has permission to enter backyard to view. I have alerted Parker Management to these dead trees a couple times over the past few years. I would like some assistance in getting Parker to clean this up.

Please designate turn lanes (even if it's just one lane) at the stop sign heading east on Covenanter Drive at Buick-Cadillac Blvd (and entrance to Kroger). It is hard enough when people in B'ton tend to lack a knowledge of 4-way stop laws, and the use of turn signals is inconsistent at best. Thanks!!
