Lime e-scooters have been dumped, partially in the street near the intersection of Etter Drive and Stephens in the Eastern Heights addition. This have been unused, and are certainly unwanted, and need to be removed from the street, and not placed on anyone's private property. Thank You.

Increase in taxes: No more new taxes! The mayor's proposed increase in the optional income tax is nothing but a money grab. Evidence is now coming out as departments are hustling to come up with ideas about how to spend the money, such as housing and transportation in addition to the climate stuff. Bloomington is not and will not change the climate. How about sound good projects and then figure out how to sell them and fund them with the public. How about looking at efficient ways of doing city business? No new taxes!!

When is Bloomington getting a Tesla SuperCharger? Seems way overdue to me.

52,000 dollars for a Night Mayor (Nightmare more like it). Thanks for nothing B-town. More like IU Student Housing City, IN. I suppose Mayor "Default" Hamilton can't function after 5pm or he'll turn into a pumpkin.

I am concerned that the city currently has no way to report ethical issues such as conflicts of interest, either anonymously or otherwise.

Ref: Saturday Farmer's Market I implore the mayor of Bloomington to not resort to the extreme action of closing the Saturday Farmer's Market as a solution to calming the tensions around a particular market stand at the farmer's market. Bloomington's farmers market is at its peak time of year late July/early August. I have arranged for out of town company to be in Bloomington this weekend in large part because the market yields such a wonderful market Saturday dinner. I myself am making a trip into town from DC for the weekend to host my out of town guests. The city MUST find a less destructive way of calming the tensions than that of closing the market. Sincerely, Beth Plale A citizen of Bloomington with residence on Southeast side of town

Farmers Market Shutdown, I have no idea what threats or racial incivility the Mayor knows exist in the Bloomington farmers market that threaten the community. I don’t know what “the” white supremacists said, did or threatened to do in Bloomington. Did some nut case threaten to drive a truckload of nitrates into the courthouse like a disgruntled landowner did up in Lafayette years ago. If so, arrest them. Lead, don’t cower. If the offense isn’t prosecutable stay calm and carry on with business. Open the Market. Sell veggies...not manure.
